7 people, 5 different meals (no sharing, 2 duplicated!), all excellent! Food, service, ambience at Ollo are always excellent. This time our large party sat outside in the 70 degree January weather we know and love. The variety of food make kids and adults alike happy. From my crab cake eggs Benedict to my granddaughter's Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream and everything in between. Ollo scrambles, omelets, chocolate chip pancakes! You name it, it's delicious. When it's just my wife and I, we sit at the counter (bar) and follow whatever sports are showing. Never disappointed!

Hubby and I ventured out to Malibu to try Ollo. We discovered that we had last been there when it was Coogie's. My Chicken Bowl was scrumptious with all fresh ingredients and house made dressing. Hubby loved his Tagliatelle Bolognese. The server was superb and has worked there for 34 years! We will be back soon!

Our order came out completely wrong. They couldn't get it right. My kids food came out 20 minutes after everyone else's. It was a complete disaster. They barely acknowledged the mistakes and barely took anything off the bill. What a nightmare.

Great food Lovely waiters Ambiance pleasant Background music too loud for conversation Bench seating is quite deep, a few smaller pillows needed for shorter people Pricing - boarder-line high Would love if OLLO offered a few more whole food plant based dishes w/o oil or minimal and oil free dressings. High speed blender: 1 cup soy milk, 2 T lemon juice, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 T tahini OR 1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds. (add chili powder for a southwest flavor)

It was fine. We were passing through to get to Santa Barbara. Food was good, service was good, nothing spectacular, but I don't think anyone going there is expecting anything phenomenal considering it's in a strip mall type situation.

Fair quality, pasta a bit salty to those who are not living in USA. Staff just ok.

We had breakfast at Ollo. Overall, it's a nice place and the food was good, except for the French toast. It tasted like the chef forgot to add sugar, and it was a bit dry and not fluffy at all.

We're visiting Malibu and have already eaten here three times. The food is exceptional and the service is consistently outstanding. The restaurant is welcoming, warm, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Good for the price

Very good for dinner especially if going to Pepperdine for a show. Excellent waitress, Beni, who provided great service. I liked my Eggplant Parmesan and you can't go wrong with their pasta dishes.

Always an enjoyable experience here at Ollo. It’s been a while since we've been here. Sat at the bar for a mid-day, late lunch. Had a nice Montepulciano, salad and shrimp with beans in a light tomato sauce. Yum!

What more can I say? The atmosphere was immediately dominated by the incredible artwork displayed on the walls. It felt like a sufficient gallery space for a solo artist's exhibition, and the pieces were also for sale (prices were posted).

We ordered the Prosciutto Pizza, and the thin, Italian-style crust was perfectly crisp. The generous portion of fresh prosciutto on top was wonderfully salty yet tender, pairing perfectly with the rich tomato sauce. The amount of ham was truly impressive, making even one slice incredibly satisfying. The savory flavor balanced beautifully with the sauce's acidity. Being fired in a brick oven, it was easily a top-tier pizza.

My only regret was the appearance of small flies or gnats that accompanied the pizza when it arrived. I'm unsure if they were attracted by the aroma, but they disappeared after the pizza was finished and the plate was cleared. This led me to suspect a potential issue with the pizza itself or the serving board. I notified the staff, and they kindly removed the pizza charge later, but those persistent flies definitely kept our enjoyment from reaching its peak.

The Caesar Salad was absolutely excellent. It was incredibly fresh and crisp, and the creamy dressing was flavorful without being overwhelming, coating the lettuce perfectly. In particular, the large, thinly shaved slices of Parmigiano cheese were rich and savory, elevating the entire salad. It was a perfect, classic side dish to accompany our main courses.

If you want to experience the authentic Italian atmosphere and flavor, this place is definitely the best choice.
