Beautiful setting, but definitely paying for the view. Service was excellent. Food was thankfully good and decent sized portions.

The food was terrible. The service was worse. It took forever to get our table despite making a reservation. The waiter took 15 min before ever showing up. It was another 30 minutes before the drinks arrived and that was after multiple attempts to get the drinks. Portions were very large but the food was so bad - it all just went to waste. The prices were outrageous. $30 for a salad. No price listed on the glasses on wines. The beach outside is lovely but that is obviously what you are saying for.

The perfect beachside cafe. Trust me and go for a table on the sand and take an adult beverage to go on your way out. Food is delicious and the vibes are even better.

We sat outside, enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean with our toes in the sand. The portions are large, and the food was amazing! The service was very polite and excellent. We will definitely go back!

Always amazing, stunning views to the ocean, crystal blue sky, sound of the waves, never getting tired of this location. Food and service is great and there's nothing better to start into a great day.

Very bad service.. we literally had no service. The waiter kept forgetting everything we asked for. Food took 1 hour to get to the table

Location is beautiful. That is where the positive ends. Decided to drive the hour to Malibu because I wanted to support the community with our business. Had family in town, and made the trek to have a nice afternoon on the beach with some good drinks, food and toes in the sand. Seated promptly, but took forever to be greeted by anyone. I don't know if we ever received water now that I think about it. Drinks were terrible once we finally got them. Nothing but mix and sour. Appetizers were ok... nothing impressive from the calamari or onion rings. Ordered some sourdough bread, which I think ended up coming at the end of the meal so no one ate it. Food was meh. Table of 6, we ordered a myriad of items, no one was wowed. I really didn't expect a gourmet meal, even though the price would lead you to think otherwise. I really just expected ok food at a beautiful location. What ultimately made me take the time to write a review was the AWFUL service and RUDE manager. My mother is Blind. I tried to find a way to take her to see the beach without having to climb over ropes or rocks. I asked the manager for help in getting her a chair to avoid an accident and was DISMISSED. There was no kindness, no let me see what I can do. NO, thank you for spending $400 with us today let me help make your trip a little extra special. I just don't understand. It doesn't take much to be kind, it doesn't take much to give little extra so that a local like me would continue to bring business to Malibu. THANKFULLY another patron overheard and told me there was a path off to the side that my mom could easily traverse so she got to sit on the beach for a minute. NO, I will not be back, and no I do not recommend this restaurant . There are MUCH better $50+ lunches on our beautiful beaches!

The prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Fish & Chips & burgers are close to $30. Onion Rings are $19! Actually, nearly everything on the menu is at least $25+ including nachos and guacamole & chips! That said, the portions are big and the food is delicious. What you're really paying for is the ocean view. Plus, you have to pay for self-parking! ENJOY!

Loved it, great place, foods good, service is friendly n efficient...
Tables are outside on beach or pleasant inside with waves crashing in front.
Margaritas tasty and taco plate amazing fish, beef, carnitas... it is pricey! The history of black n white photos covering the walls of the beach, people, boats an fishing!
I enjoyed the atmosphere even got to watch a few guys catch some waves!
It's been there for a long time!
