We had a great experience at Spruzzo. The food was excellent and they even had cauliflower crust pizza for those of us gluten-free. The beach view from the patio was a pleasant surprise!

We went for Fathers Day. We were so disappointed. The food was not cooked correctly ( overdone) the drinks were awful, the service was non existent. Our server was more concerned with his larger table. We were a party of 4. We had to track down our server more than once. The food was cold ( pasta) and very overpriced. We asked for 2 items to be removed from the check, server forgot bit then corrected it. We tipped 20% because we were trying to give benefit of the doubt. We have never had to write a review like this , but for $183.00 of dissatisfaction it's necessary.

Tried this new place in Malibu two thumbs up had the ceviche and one of the best soups. I’ve had beautiful view of the ocean in Malibu great Parking wonderful martinis definitely headed back for a dessert.

My experience was mediocre - the food was not worth the price and the service wasn’t great, but this is probably due to the fact that weather caused the patio to be closed and several huge parties were seated inside and divided the server’s attention too much. Maybe with the sunset it’s more worth it, but I wouldn’t come back just for the food.

Let me start off by saying that I RARELY leave reviews. I don't have the time or the patience, however, I felt I HAD TO. So we are from out of town and my son was admitted to the hospital for a week. I got tired of hospital food so I decided to check online to see what I can have delivered. I'm 14 weeks pregnant and had a craving for chicken parmigiana so I actually blindly ordered from Spruzzo. OH MY GOSH. I'm sooo glad I did. Me being from Italian family, I've had my fair share of chicken parmigiana and Italian food. It is not easy to get right. This was hands down THE BEST chicken parm I've ever had! That's really tough to claim that title but Spruzzo managed to do it! I've never been to the restaurant so I can't say much about the service or atmosphere or anything like that but if you're looking for a really really good and authentic chicken parmesan then I highly suggest ordering here!!!
This place is cute, located upstairs near the beach. They have outdoor seating which inspired me to get a meal while I got some work done. The server was attentive and cordial. My only qualm about this place is that I got sick later in the night from the seafood linguine. I thought it tasted a bit fishier than it should, so I'm not sure how fresh the ingredients were.
