Five energetic highly animated grandchildren who are major finicky about food were very happy on this night at Spruzzos in Malibu. The children's menu was varied and gave them delicious selections. We six grownups were pleased with our choices. Our server was extraordinarily quick witted with our family group! All of us left pleased and feeling this place provided the best bang for the buck in all our Malibu restaurant selections during our six day vacation surrounded by an atmospheric river in mid November!

Simple and straightforward cuisine with excellent quality. The staff and atmosphere are lovely and helpful. It does take some time to get served your food, but it's Malibu, which is expected.

I gave a 5 star review as our groups evening was excellent. Great food, service and we got to watch the Dodger game. Everyone commented on what a perfect night it was. Great place to bring a group of friends!
Beautiful ocean view. Excellent food and service. We tried appetizers and main dishes here and I can say enough compliments to the chef.

Stopped by here for some afternoon drinks and a light snack. TLDR: Good location as parking is super easy (non peak hours) and if you want to grab ONLY some drinks i'd recommend it! if you want food - go anywhere else!
Good spacious area - both indoor and outdoor! The outdoor has a partial view (one side are the hills, and the other blocked by some dense forrest).
Drinks were fine for standard wines, cocktails, beers. The wait staff all just seemed stressed and unhappy to be there! All but one waiter and the hostess seemed to be genuinely friendly but others just couldn't wait for their days to end!
Food - we did end up getting a salad and a pizza.. overall i'd pass on the food! To be honest, it's pretty hard to screw up a salad and pizza - the salad (Meditereanean) was soggy and just so-so; but the worst was the Pizza (Four Season) - absolutely no flavor, dry! You could buy some dough from Trader Joe's and make it half decent but dreadful how bad it was. Reminded me of the elemetary obligatory preset weekly menus - friday pizza!

We've been patronizing this restaurant for over 14 years. We started picking up salmon dinners for take-out over the past 3 - 4 years and they always hit the spot! Because of a dietary restriction, I recently ordered mine with no added salt and the chef cooked up some of the most deliciously seasoned vegetables I've ever had to compliment my salmon and mashed potatoes. They also serve great steaks and pizzas. So much good food with great portion sizes!
