Worst experience ever with Ali ( Alison) rude, arrogant and truly made my day unpleasant for no reason at all. Being nice and understanding towards her didn't help.

Everything was really good, but I didn't think anything was great. The views make it worth it.

WHEN U ARRIVE there is a parking lot which is convient. Free parking. You go up the stairs on the right middle or left and proceed to the restaurantWhen u walk in there a Lil hall to get to the host. Who greeted us with " can I help you" weird introduction. Im used to being asked "party of __"? But anyway. I told her we would like to eat and she got us a table outside.Beautiful views.I immediately ordered an expresso martini and my date a blackberry mojitoHost: ZoeyServer: SaulSeat: outdoor balconyOur server 10/10 amazing. We did a quick weeknight dinner on the patio. The service was excellent and very helpful. The grilled artichoke was great and would definitely get again. I enjoyed the vegan pasta but would also consider trying the eggplant Parmesan next time and ahi tuna tartare.

Bill came for myself at $24.16. I always round to 20% and the nearest whole number which was 30. I check my transactions and I was charged $34.24. Not a crazy amount just the principle and to mention the service was not great for a 20% tip. My friend also checked his and he was over charged to for what he tipped.

Food was pretty good. Our group of 8 liked everything they got. Gave service 3 stars because we were only allowed to have 4 checks per table, even though we had 2 tables of 4 pushed together, we still were allowed only 4 checks.

Wonderful place facing the ocean. Unfortunately can’t say the same about their food. We had an “Italian Spritz” that was very Prosecco heavy, some people might like it but really didn’t feel all the elderflower, aperol and orange notes that were mentioned on the menu. The shrimp ceviche as more like a Mexican salsa with some small shrimp inside. I ordered the Seafood Linguine, definitely catered to Americans, pasta overcooked, drowned in sauce and a bunch of BASIL on top! BASIL! Not parsley as it supposed to. The basil totally killed the seafood flavor. The seafood was also crunchy from sand, that means it wasn’t well rinsed.I asked the server to make it again with less sauce, no basil and pasta al dente and they brought me a garlic olive oil and chili flakes pasta with seafood… the owner (or the manager) brought it to me (after another half hour!!!) and was pretty aggressive when I told him that it was not what I asked for.For sure there was a miscommunication with the server, and eventually they took it off the bill. I didn’t eat that thing, now I’m only upset and still hungry

I’ve been visiting this spot since before COVID. Like many places after COVID, it sloped. But they have no excuses.First, I used to walk in and we’d be greeted. Now you walk in and there is no sever in sight and the person behind the counter just looks at you as if you’re an alien. I asked if I can just sit anywhere and she said, “yes if you’d like to sit then you can pick where you’d like to sit and a server will be with you”. I didn’t see any standing table area so fortunately yes, I did want to sit(?).I chose to sit outside as I usually do. There was another occupied table nearby so I wanted to make it easier on the current wait staff and sit fairly close. Little did I know the table had waited 20 minutes and asked if I’d seen anyone. After returning inside I spotted a waiter who clarified that he was sitting down to eat his lunch (that would be nice). I continued BACK to the counter where I patiently waited for the “kind” lady to finish watching the video on her phone before asking if anyone was attending the outside area. Unfortunately she did not share the comedic value of the video to identify the reason why it took priority but that’s okay.I’d seen what looks to be the manager (of some sort) waltzing around appearing to be busy but one would realize right away there wasn’t much to be busy about.Continuing outside a very kind waitress eventually attended us and was attentive throughout. However, I could tell that the service was being offered to avoid any sharing of the poorly executed welcome. The food has definitely sloped and although they deliver what they promise, their promise has lost integrity. The pizza no longer has any foundational carriage and the ingredients are meh in freshness. The water is tap (normal) but the question of whether or not it’s filtered is for you to judge. Their bread is dry and has also offers no conversation (although it is complimentary so no room to complain).Professionally, I operated a marketing firm who has a strong portfolio in the restaurant space. We consult and build restaurant experiences to improve/create experiences. I understand what these reviews do to businesses so I typically avoid them. Especially if it’s my first visit (I don’t believe in sharing one bad experience). But this has been routine here.I don’t hold the waiting staff accountable, I hold management accountable. I hold the gentleman who just walked around the staff standing around doing nothing accountable. Poor leadership is always the culprit and $20 minimum wages haven’t even sunk in yet. It’s a shame a place like Spruzzo’s has continued to skate downhill. Intentional? Maybe. Recommended? I’d say not anymore.

I had a lovely solo dinner here while on vacation recently. The food was incredible and the wait staff were courteous and prompt without making me feel rushed. Their outdoor seating area is wonderful!

We ordered the spring fling and a blueberry cocktail, along with the Thai chicken pizza. The cocktails were fresh, with a noticeable mint and fruit flavor, though a bit too sweet for my liking.I'd suggest avoiding the Thai chicken pizza or letting your husband choose the pizza next time.

Had the pesto pasta and carbonara. Slightly on the salty side but this was washed down with unlimited Coca-Cola, which the servers are very quick to refill(!) a great vista and a good stop on road trip. One of the few oceanside places with free, ample parking.
