Stopped at this place for a lunch. Friendly and efficient service. Vegetarian appetizers and dips were delicious. The salmon was delicious, the shrimp were a bit overdone. The green beans mushy and overcooked.

We went there Sunday afternoon ordered a chicken dish the chicken was not cooked at all when we complained they took the same dish burn the chicken and bring it back , overall nothing tastes good

Terrible service. Our waiter Nicko spent less than a minute at our table the entire visit. He only took our order, and when the food arrived it was wrong. When we were ready to leave, we had to ask the food runners for to go boxes because the waiter never checked on us. We then had to ask 3 separate times for the check to different food runners. We waited over 20 minutes with no response, and I eventually had to get up and to the host just so we could pay.
To make things worse, we were charged incorrectly, had to wait another five-ten minutes, and then were handed the original receipt instead of the corrected one—so we had to wait again for the right one. This was the lowest tip we’ve ever given. We will not be recommending this place.
Taverna Tony’s is one of my longtime Malibu favorites. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is full of energy, and the patio dining feels like a little escape to the Greek islands. I bring clients and friends here often because it’s relaxed, welcoming, and consistently excellent — the kind of place that really showcases Malibu’s charm. Whether it’s lunch on the patio or dinner with live music, Taverna Tony’s never disappoints.
