Food is usually very good, this time however it was very bland. Lasagna was bland except for the sauce which saved it, eggplant parmesan had no parmesan cheese and the sauce was like tomato juice. Very disappointing and hopefully just an off night for the chef. The service was excellent as usual.

This place is always great. The pizza is an outstanding starter to share. I love the fresh fish and would not dare skipping the raviolis. The servers are friendly and the outdoor dining is a highlight. We love this place.

The setup here is casual but stylish: outdoor seating under big green umbrellas, surrounded by trees and a light soundtrack that makes the whole patio feel relaxed. Even though I was short on time, the vibe instantly slowed me down a little — Malibu has that magic.
I ordered the gnocchi with tomato sauce. They came out hot, steaming, and full of that homemade flavor you want when you grab Italian. For a fast-order spot, it’s impressive how fresh and satisfying the food feels. The portion was plenty for lunch, and at about $19, it matched Malibu pricing but didn’t feel over the top.
Service was straightforward and quick, exactly what I needed in that moment. No fuss, no wait — just good food, good setting, and back on the move.
If you’ve got time, it’s the kind of place where you could sit under the umbrellas with a glass of wine and let the afternoon pass slowly. But even for someone on the go, it works perfectly.
5 stars for convenience, taste, and that Malibu outdoor charm. I’ll be back when I actually have time to linger.

We were in the area and decided to have an early dinner, so we decided to try this place and sat in the outside patio area. Everyone was pleasant and attentive from the hostess to the waiters. Good wine selection and the prosciutto pizza was great! Would happily return.

At Tra di Noi, we truly feel at home. Luigi and his team are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The food is fabulous—it feels like you are dining in Italy, or even better, at home. The atmosphere is excellent, and Malibu Country Mart is a wonderful place to spend time with family. We have been enjoying meals at Tra di Noi for the past 17 years, and we absolutely love it!
