Austria hof, mammoth falls. For an old girl it wasn't too bad. However.... Interesting breakfast in the lobby of hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, 3x fruits, muffins and cake. Note that hot water can take 10 minutes or more to come thru and fluctuates. Our bath rocked room 103. Very steep stairs and dark rooms. Paper thin walls.
A quaint hotel but you need to be strong to get your suitcases up 2 to 3 flights of stairs with no help. Very close to ski fields for winter. Quiet are. Breakfast is a takeaway style. You can hear people in rooms through the walls and ceilings
Great service! The hotel was able to accommodate an earlier check-in. The front desk was knowledgeable on local recommendations too. The rooms were clean, quiet, and up to date. I wil absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Mammoth.
Nearby activities: The hotel is right at the base of Mammoth mountain. There's immediate access to skiing, mountain biking, and sport climbing.
