There is truly nothing to do in mammoth in the evenings if there is a line wrapped around the building in order to be packed into a basement like sardines… not the vibes for a fri or sat night after skiing!

Great whiskey bar. Can get very crowded Fri Sat. Skews younger later.

The Reuben was perhaps the best I'd ever had. It was meaty, rich, and decadent. The tater tots were amazing: crispy and well-cooked. However, the "Lederhosen" pretzel was a soggy mess with nacho cheese as a sad substitute for a good beer cheese.

Hi, I was just kicked out of your bar because your bartenders aren’t privy to checking ID’s. I showed Nicole, the bartender with pink hair, my ID and after her looking at it for a reasonable amount of time, called another bartender to look at it. I explained it’s an Arizona ID, which do not have expiration dates. Myself only having my ID card with me as I’m out of town visiting and being asked to leave out of my group of 8 friends is embarrassing on your staffs part. I would recommend maybe an ID scanner if your staff isn’t familiar with what’s an acceptable ID. Would be shocked honestly if she was RBS certified. Especially since you’re a spot that gets a lot of people out of town, such as me, visiting here snowboarding. She also lied to me and said her name was Sara. Would love to hear back from management on how I was treated. :)

Bar closed 1.5 hours before closing time, just when we arrived. Bar tender said there hadn't been many customers, so decided to stop serving.

Perhaps there’s a disconnect from what their website says (“happy hour everyday starting at 4pm”) and what the bar staff was trained. When we came in at 4:30pm and asked what the happy hour special was, Kyle told us “$1 off draft, $1 off wells… $8 Coors + Shot” and didn’t mention anything for food. The draft board has all draft beers/kombucha/cider listed as $8, Miller or Coors was $5, and a few wines for $14.We ordered 2 draft beers and decided to hold off on food. When tabbing out we were charged full price for the beers ($16). Another man who ordered a beer (at 4:45pm) and paid immediately was also charged $8.A little frustrated by the charge after being told there was a special. The interior was what you’d expect of a basement pub. Old, cluttered interior that was dingy from age, though seemed clean enough.Service was otherwise fine. It wasn’t busy so he got our drinks immediately and mostly kept to the end of the bar until called upon. Also be warned that their credit card authorization charges $50 automatically to test the card when starting a tab—YIKES! It was refunded, but that’s a large sum and I at first thought there was a fraud charge. (Gas stations or online vendors usually do a $1 test)

Parking: There is a designated parking lot for Clocktower and a few other businesses as listed on the sign. I imagine it would fill up quickly during peak times, but on a weekday afternoon the lot had plenty of spaces.
