Great beers. Great vegan hummus option. Wife liked the chips and queso.. just great all around. We got some packs to go we liked it so much.

For those who love unfiltered beer, I highly recommend trying Sky Pillow, which is the best tasting and citrusy. We also have several packs to go.
Another good one was Cryo high club.
Please add more vegan options to the menu, but the hummus plate was good.

Distant Brewing does the Mammoth Lake beer scene proud. Nothing we had was especially weird or unique, but everything was solid and scratched the itch you were hoping for.

Phenomenal beer, food, atmosphere, and merch! Keep it up Distant! You guys rock!

This is a must stop at place in Mammoth! We had a fantastic lunch! B.L.A.T sandwich for me and Beef Dip for my husband. They were delicious! The bread was to die for! I had a split of an Oregon Pinot Noir and my husband had a porter! Both were excellent! Staffing warm and friendly! Will definitely be back!

Mammoth needed another brewery and this one for beer I think is a little better. They are pet friendly and dogs are welcome here. The beer is good, the only negative is when the sun is out the tables they have outside are black, it’s almost impossible to put your arms on the table because they are so hot and your beer heats up super fast. They do have some shade covering but I would suggest more….it was quite busy and an order of chicken tenders took a while to get out as we were almost done with our beer…

Nice alternative to Mammoth Brewing. Had the Helles Lager which was very good. Sampled the blonde which was good as well. Didn't have food so can't comment on that. Good space with lots of outdoor seating. Dog friendly. The beer tender wasn't the friendliest guy I've ever come across but I wasn't there to be his friend so it was fine. Would go back.

Unfortunately disappointing. We had 2 ok meals (chicken BLT with avocado, 2x Greek salad with chicken) and one decent meal (chorizo nachos). The food wasn’t bad…just…meh. The salads were good. The chicken was bland without the taste of basic salt or pepper. I spiced my salad with buffalo sauce and it was spicy at least. I did have 3 pepperoncini stems in my salad that weren’t the most appealing to crunch down on in the middle of a mouth full of food.

The drinks were decent and satisfying. Service was good despite the place being packed. 👍

It was one of those meals where we weren’t necessarily unhappy to come, but unfortunately considering the quality of food at other places, I don’t believe we will be coming back as we don’t drink beer without food.

Beer ok good outdoor seating dogs ok
Had the pizza ordered large it was smallest $25 dollar large pizza I ever had! It was also the worst
It was like it was a day or two old then warmed up..at least I had beer to wash it down.
Hopefully the other food is better?

Three stars.

Because beer: 5 stars. Exceptional. Loved it.

Food: 1 star. A pizza that was slightly worse than a frozen pizza (but only slightly) - for $23. Hot honey pepperoni with no detectable hot honey but a very detectable frozen pizza vibe.

Chips and guac were Trader Joe’s pre-made quality, as in sorta blah, with bottom of the bag chips, as in, mostly crumbs that could not grab any salsa or guac.

So bummed.

I’ll be back for beer! Had 2 on tap, bought a couple of 4-packs for later.

But I’ll eat elsewhere. Sorry. I hope they up the game.

This is my favorite brewery in Mammoth. The beer is varied and good, the service is solid, and they have live music 3 times a week.

Amazing Beers. The Black Doubt stout is a must try! The Sky Pellow is a Hazy IPA worth a try. Food is good and service great. And they have a music stage!

Miquel Arranz

Good beers and good live music!

Beers were okay, pilsner was good, but in the year 2025 pizza should be punching above this caliber.
