We felt so lucky that we found this place, especially on our last night in Mammoth. The views out the window are stunning, and the owner even moved us to the table with the best view when it opened up. The food was absolutely incredible- the Cubano sandwich is a must, the guava ham was so rich in flavor, and everything else we tried (bread pudding, margaritas, plantains) was top tier.
The owner is a real gem, as are all the people who work here. You all made it the best final day of a honeymoon we could have asked for. This place is really special to us, and we will always be back when we’re in the area.

This was such a great experience. They had some live music as we walked in for our reservation. The wine tequila drinks were strong, but delicious. Their service was top notch as well
The food was some of the best Cuban food I've had the pleasure of trying. The Cubano is a MUST! And their tostones and the pastelon was a unique twist on lasagna with way more flavor than I expected. The coconut sticky pudding had an amazing coconut glaze, reminded me of Hawaii. If you're in the area, this is a must. Make a reservation by calling! We called same day and got seats! Definitely coming back.

Such a hidden Gem. You'd think it's worth nothing to because it a bit isolated but what a surprise. The owner is lovely and has tons of fun stories. The food was incredible and very affordable. The service staff was also super nice. I loved all of it!

We showed up to have dinner and the woman at this restaurant made us feel like we ruined her night by coming to their restaurant. She turned us away.
We wanted to try their food, but are extremely caught off guard by her attitude.

The busser was amazing and attentive for when we needed water and silverware. We saw our server twice I think and had a reservation at 7:45.
One from our party got up and grabbed us menus since we didn’t get any after sitting at the tables for
20 mins. Thank goodness for the amazing busser refilling our waters. We Didn’t get appetizers till 9pm. Tables around us sat after us and got their food before we got our appetizers, they only had 2 less people than us. We got spicy oil though! I’m sure others have had better service, unfortunately for us we did not.
Got our food 2 hours after sitting :/ Idk what Cuban beef stew is supposed to look like but I don’t think it’s supposed to look like this haha
I also understand that it’s not supposed to be “fast food” but the service was not good and we were forced to add a 20% tip due to the size of our party. I wish our entire tip was given to the busser/chefs.
The host had an outfit change while we were waiting for menus also lol

We came here for a potentially nice birthday evening but slow service unfortunately has ruined the experience. meals took over an hour to be delivered to the table upon ordering, but there was significant room for improvement. The group became exhausted and tired of asking for things.,

Really good good but unfortunately terrible owner and management. They turn customers away cause they're overwhelmed. They talk to customers in a condescending manner. Really poorly managed. Compliments to the chef though but not worth dealing with the poor poor service.

Anyone who doesn’t give this place a 5 star is totally off their rocker. This food quality is top notch, the price is heaven sent , and the staff is bubbling with attentiveness. We had Gabby for our server and she was the bomb. All of the food was quality and I can’t say not one thing negative about this experience. Keep it up y’all! Putting this on my saved locations on must places to eat. Hope to serve you at my place one day. Thank you.

Truly great restaurant. Great octopus, and the bread pudding was amazing. Picadillo was excellent too. My partner who hates olives and coconut loved every dish, which often had either olives or coconut. When im back in mammoth, im bringing everyone here

Was treated awfully by the staff. Very dismissive to the point I didn’t feel comfortable being there anymore. I really suggest they learn how to treat patrons w special accommodations needs. Don’t recommend.
I love Cuban food and I was really looking forward to dining here. Pros: we were able to get a table of 8 even though we did not have a reservation. The servers were nice and quick. Garlic bread and fried plantains were great. Sangria was also very good. Beans and rice are good too. Cons: the chicken and pork skewers were very dry and seemed reheated. No sauces came with the skeweres either. Our entre came out before the appetizers. Cuban food is known for garlic and lemon sauce, so was surprised that there wasn't that option.

The sangrias are also refreshing as well balanced. They are busy (be smarter than us and get a reservation) and so very accommodating to customers. All of the staff were so kind and made everyone feel welcome. Dos Alas made the trip!

Super cool & quirky spot. The food was unique and tasty and the servers were really attentive to food allergies and were very helpful in working around those. Would def recommend!
