Giovanni's Pizzeria

Appreciate that this rather traditional pizza parlor goes to the trouble of offering spicy tofu that they will place on a variety of pizzas. Be forewarned – it taste just like spicy sausage, so much so that I asked a server to confirm that there wasn’t in fact sausage.

Ordered to-go, they messed up our order and gave us the wrong items (literally just dry noodles in a box). After driving home we realized it and called back to ask for a replacement, they had the audacity to rudely argue over phone that it was OUR mistake when the hostess clearly read back our order correctly on the first call. Attitude from her was awful, and their “solution” was to give us a SINGLE small cup of the correct sauce instead of just replacing with a fresh plate. Lastly, the food was honestly bland (and cold after our second trip back).

I’ve worked many restaurant jobs in the past and rarely leave any kind of negative feedback, but honestly it’s clear that Giovanni’s doesn’t care about their customers at all. I’ll never eat here again.

The food was really bad. The baked egg plant was so bad, it was hard to eat it because it would not break. It seemed like they put no effort in the food, it was poorly made.

Today we visited Giovannis's Pizzeria for the first time. Order Lasagna, a delight 😋, mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and draft beer 🍺. I recommend it for the 3B's

We placed a takeout order by phone, and the person who took the call was discourteous. The food is overpriced. The pasta was exceptionally poor, the worst I have ever had. The pizza was acceptable, but the minestrone soup was quite unappetizing.

Very very well filled pizzas, for 6, we took the largest so good value for money and we didn't manage to finish it! Really an address to recommend.

Got the large meat lovers pizza and split it between two very hungry people and we could only eat half That's how filling it was. Had the other half the next day

A really great experience during an extremely busy night.

This is a nice, cozy, family friendly Italian restaurant with incredible service and good, fresh food. The restaurant has a full sit-down area, a sports bar and take out.

The service by EVERYONE was excellent. Special kudos to Stephanie! This shows that Management treats their employees with respect and provides an effective work environment.

We had Bolognese, Masterpiece Pizza, Eggplant Parmesan and Minestrone Soup. All were served hot and were delicious. The Bolognese has great meat flavor with fresh ingredients. Well balanced flavor with umami, sour, sweet, salty and spicy. I would also recommend the additional meatballs which were great. Each bite as delicious as the one prior. My one dissatisfaction was the pasta was slightly overcooked and not properly drained. But as crowded and busy as it was, I will give this an easy pass. All plates were completely clean in a short time. The Minestrone Soup was made with fresh carrots, beans, tomatoes and rich broth. Definitely a soup that was made well and fresh.

Overall, a great Italian comfort food restaurant with wonderful service and friendly people. Will definitely be back.
