Awww ... this is hard. Was really excited about the menu and the amazing Gojira memorabilia all throughout the restaurant. But ... despite having THE BEST calamari I've had since living in CA for 2 years and a decent side of kimchi, we ordered two specialty sushi rolls at a pretty hefty price point and it was very clear that they were pre-made. I am visiting from out of town and decided to give Gojira a try. I ordered the Miso Ramen and while the flavor smelled delicious and the first bite was good, it was extremely salty eating the entire ramen! If it were any saltier, it would be inedible (in my opinion). However, I’m not taking away too many stars because I do feel like this is an easy fix, as the rest of my ramen had good noodles and toppings. I also ordered take-out and appreciated that they had the miso broth...
Place had amazing Godzilla posters, toys and decorations. My husband and I are big nerds and had to snag a beanie and hoodie of their logo. Their rolls and takoyaki are also very delicious and their miso had a very unique taste that I very much enjoyed. Will def come back when we 're in Mammoth again!
