Hugs Ice Cream

Ice cream tastes like fridge and it had a small hair in it. Definitely don't recommend.

We come to Hugs every time we are in Mammoth!! We love their ice cream!!

Terrible. An insanely long wait to get standard ice cream. Not terrible ice cream, not great ice cream, just mediocre.
They literally ran out of any ice cream that contains chocolate. And they made zero effort to find any.
Just go to the local scoop or buy a pint in the general store downstairs.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They will run out of every flavor of ice cream, will not tell customers even when there is an enormous line outside, and will make no effort to do anything. Easily the worst managed ice cream shop I've ever seen in my life.

Flavors were extremely limited, some undesirable. Service was crap. Found a hair in my ice cream. I know this place is pretty much the only option for ice cream around here, but I would honestly rather have gone to the supermarket to get a pint. Also very expensive for what it is

Unfortunately they were out of chocolate, so we had two people get cookie dough and one get a cookie dough shake. The shake was mostly milk and tasted like nothing. The other two that got scoops of cookie dough got one tiny piece of cookie dough each. Would not go here again.

Probably the only ice cream place in Mammoth. A very long queue formed during dinner time. Very good ice cream and flavour options. But confusing as there are 2 display sections which are separated in between, making it hard to decide. I find it stupid and illogical that they don't allow adults to order a kids scoop.

Always out of good flavors, but good ice cream

Not a lot of flavors. The names on the glass were old and I couldn't really read them from how faded they were. The worst part is that the menu is so ridiculously overpriced for basic ice cream.

Just not good ice cream. I sampled two flavors and didn’t like either so I got cookie dough because I didn’t think it could go very wrong. There was one cookie dough ball and the ice cream tasted like nothing.

Ice-cream is hard to get wrong. But this business just doesn’t get it. The service is horrible. Employees just don’t want to work there. They are miserable. The ice cream echos that energy. Meaning the flavors and textures were off. The table outside were filthy. The cookies stale. I mean, this company really wants to set a low standard… as if they wanted to fold/fail.

Not the place to get a good ice cream fix… flavors are very artificial & texture is weird. I got a vanilla cause all the other flavors tasted weird.. even that they messed up. Sad cause its the only place to get icecream in the area. Theres no love to the business 🥲💔

Exceptionally well crafted and high quality ice cream. Many flavors. Many of which I’ve never seen. Very reasonably priced. But what would continue my support are the friendly staff. Beautiful spirit in an awe amazing site/location.
I’d strongly recommend the peppermint flavor!
