What's not to love about this place? Great outdoor seating, exceptional service and extremely flavorful dishes.

The burger was just excellent. Thick and Juicy cooked exactly to order. The fries were crispy and delicious. and the Cheesesteak was bursting with flavor.

When we are in town we will be back to this location.

Not sure what they’re paying the one person working over 13 tables but holy cow should they pay her more. This place is a sports bar, as expected, and has lots of TV’s and chaos. Pretty classic and normal - except for the customers. I watched some people get into small verbal fights (again normal, presumably over sports).

What was NOT normal, and never should be, is how a lot of men treated the single hostess. One person to work the floor and yet people were upset when it took over 3 minutes to get a drink? Like up this lady’s pay or find a second person to help out on game days. She never stopped moving for a second, was always polite and kind, yet some idiots kept bring extremely disrespectful to her.

This place is great and a classic sports bar. All I ask is that customers hopefully have a little more decency and respect for the people running the place.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM — AVOID AT ALL COSTS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE A TOURIST!
We were charged a mandatory $23 service fee that was not listed anywhere on the menu. When we asked why, the waitress claimed it was written on the menu — we checked thoroughly, and that information was nowhere to be found.
It felt like they were trying to take advantage of us just because we were tourists.
To make things worse, the waitress was rude and spoke to us disrespectfully.
Horrible experience. I will never come back and strongly advise others to stay away.

Recently visited. The food was okay. The service was okay. The live music was different in a good way. And yet the 1 star is because, I believe as a costumer I have the right to choose the amount of tip I want to leave and that was not the case. Someone charged my card more after I left the written amount I wanted to leave; maybe they felt the need to steal a few extra dollars, but if they do that multiple times in a shift they get to leave home with more money. Theft is a crime. Management look into it this.

It’s not the name on the building, but the people that make this place so great. Steve is hands down the best server I’ve ever had. I’ll leave this fine city with a lifelong memory of a server who went above and beyond the call of duty. The wings were scrumptious, the wings were divine. Steve, you know service and the world is lucky to have a kind hearted, joyous man such as yourself. Thank you liberty grill and thank you Steve

We were 2 days in Mammoth lakes and really enjoyed our diner 2 days in a row in the Liberty Sporta Bar and Grill. Steve served us great and brings a smile on every face! Make sure you don't miss out on their delicious steak, burgers and ribs! Some Friday and saturdays they have live music from 9PM. Everything was great 😎👌🏼

We came in excited to try this place, but the experience went downhill fast. We stood around awkwardly at the entrance for several minutes because there was no sign or staff to greet us—we didn’t realize it was seat-yourself.

After finally finding a table, we waited a long time before anyone acknowledged us. Service was slow, and no one really checked in during the meal.

The worst part? When we left what we felt was a fair tip based on the service, the waitress actually complained about it. A tip reflects the quality of service, and making guests feel guilty about it is just unprofessional.

Won’t be returning.

TLDR: great burgers and fries, ok atmosphere.
We had the Liberty burger and bacon burger, and both were juicy and delicious, although there were spots where one of the patties was a bit burnt. The fries were great - crispy, hot, and fresh. And of sufficient quantity. The clam chowder was a bit sweet for my tastes, but was fairly hearty and a larger portion than I expected. Overall a good food experience. The location itself is not very special, a sports bar with multiple TVs showing games, but with the audio for only one game playing. There looks to be a stage so maybe there are live music nights some time, which could liven up the place.
