This is a favorite place to gather near lot #2 after getting separated after a day of skiing.

Just a fun place to sit and have a beer

Decent menu and reasonable drink and meal specials.

Decent place for lunch. Easy to meet up with people who don’t ski.

Fun place to be after a day of skiing!

Bloody Marys are masterfully crafted, perfectly peppery, and just the right amount of spiciness. The Mill is the perfect on mountain spot to grab a drink and hang out in a lounge chair. I got an order of the chili cheese fries and was pleasantly surprised! While there's not a lot of indoor seating, there's plenty of outdoor hightops by the bar that open up quickly as well as patio tables and lounge chairs closer to the lifts.

Awesome ore of the runs skiers and snowboarders are doing

You can’t beat the barbecue tri-tip sandwich, with grilled onions and peppers! The price has gone up so high but it is still the best sandwich on the mountain!

This place has an expansive outdoor patio where one can setup lounge chairs and just enjoy the sun. The trouble is on whiteout conditions the inside of this place has limited seating maybe at best 50 people with most standing and most huddled near the fireplace. There was nothing special about the menu that one couldn’t find at other eateries at mammoth

Best place for a drink and a snack on the mountain. Baileys hot choccy for the win. Seems to have decent food and it less busy that the other lodges.

The Mill is perfect for your mid-ski-day break. There is a decent selection of lunch options and it's not as "industrial" as the other mountain dining options. It's especially great on a blue-bird ski day where you can enjoy a lunch, snack, hot tea or one of their killer Bloody Marys while watching skier and lift activity or kids rolling on the snow.
