Very disappointed in the meals we had. I had the lamb shank and my wife had the elk medallions. My dinner came with polenta that appeared to have been sitting around for awhile. It was rubbery and dry. The lamb was just okay slightly overcooked. It was surprising that the dish came with no vegetables. My wife had ordered the elk medium rare to slightly medium and it came out well done, with the consistency of shoe leather. We've always had good experiences at their flagship restaurant, Convict Lake Lodge. Guess we'll make the drive there instead of Morrison's.
One of my favorite places in California. Never disappoints. Very happy repeat customer. See you soon.
I ordered a ribeye steak. Approximately 50% of the steak was just fat. I should have asked for something else, but I'm too shy. For the price of our meal, I would give the overall rating of three stars.
The overall service was great, and our server was very attentive. The dining room was very nice, with comfortable seating. The food was OK, but not memorable. It is a very noisy space in general. The bar is not separated from the dining room, and that is where most of the noise was coming from.
Great food and music play list. Scenery from windows very nice. Our second visit over the years and quality is just as good as the first.
Excellent service and great food (soup du jour, lamb shank, beef stroganoff). The restaurant has a good selection of wines as well. Worth a visit every time we are in Mammoth Lakes.
This restaurant changed it's menu awhile back. The choices now are weird and unappealing- like duck and lamb. They used to have the best Carne Asada on the planet, and pistachio pesto pasta, but it's gone. Also last night ( Saturday night memorial day weekend - no specials). The place was half empty. Must be the overpriced weird menu items. My ribeye steak was mostly inedible fat. Sad.
Crazy good food!!! Chowder was amazing. The tofu dish...off the hook. Try and add one more vegan meal.
Israel did a great job with the recommendations, food arrived hot, portions are generous. Rib eye and halibut were excellent.
Celebrated a birthday - had a great time! Food was delicious and service was excellent. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Mammoth!

We've gone to Morrison's many times since they opened but this time the noise level was over the top. We also didn't like the new menu with no barramundi although the beet salad was still delicious. We may go again but it would be a weekday night during the shoulder season.
Extremely loud restaurant, rude, terrible waiter, overpriced mediocre food.
This was one of the best places to go in Mammoth.
However, ever since the main chef past away, both service and menus has only gotten worse.
I had the tofu which was so salty, my wife had special fish and no flavor. Shrimp scampi was extremely spicy, steak was tough.
Won't go back
Good Bartending !

Good service and atmosphere. I ordered a pasta dish. The sauce was sweet which is not my favorite.
Parking was easy and no waiting for a table.
