Very bad experience. I understand that help is in short supply — however bad service in the setting of high prices never makes sense. We came for a birthday celebration— we ordered drinks appetizers and an expensive bottle of Spanish wine. We had the first olives and clams. When ordering. A Caesar salad for 3 — it was dropped off at table— 15 minutes later — table not cleared, dishes still on table — when asking for waiter or manager —- the managers response was “what do you want me to do”….. think twice about Petra’s —- mammoth can do better

Great dinner! You have to try the confit and Coq au Vin. Also a great Kioki coffee.

We had a horrible experience. This is not a family friendly restaurant and they have a very BIG attitude.

Great atmosphere and amazing staff! Adam and Kendi were the best! They were so kind and accommodating. I loved the text for reservations and adjustments. Great food and drinks! The appetizers were soo good, I almost didn’t need an entree!

I was denied seating at the bar as a single female because ‘the restaurant was full’ but the single gentleman directly behind me was seated immediately by the manager James Honey. When I questioned the hostess she said the gentleman was not known to the manager and his actions were clearly discriminatory. James Honey the manager promotes and facilitates discrimination against single female clients. I will not ever return to this restaurant.

We ordered our selection of menu items. Among two of the ordered were steak which we asked for medium, they came almost rare the problem was not being able to get the attention of our waiter for 20 minutes while he was in bar talking to other staff etc. I had to go and ask him to come to our table and fix my rate and now cold steak. I will never go to this place again. Manager never came by!!! Our waiter was Andy and we were there on 11/24/2023 at 5:30 pm

The waitress was very kind with us. The food was very good. We shared 3 appetisers and all of them was super good (both fish and meat). The desserts also we liked a lot. A very good surprise after a lot of fast food here in theUSA. Very recommended

A little pricey but great food, wine, location, and service.

I wouldn’t even bother showing up to this place — we tried to get in one night at 8:15pm, and they told us they were no longer seating. The hostess told us they didn’t seat any new tables after 8pm. The next night we showed up at 7:55pm, having specifically planned our night to get there before 8pm, and THEY STILL WOULDN’T SEAT US. We asked the host this night when we have to be there; and he replied “it depends” — what does that mean?? It depends on the mood of whoever is hosting that night? We used to really enjoy this place, but now we will never eat here again. Very disappointing.

First time in Mammoth and ate at a couple of other restaurants in the area the previous 2 nights. Petra's is my favorite out of the 3, but it was also the most expensive. We had the Salmon Trio, the Caesar salad, the clams and the Salmon entree. All of the food was very good and the waiter Tony was very nice.
