Good local beer selection. Good ambiance. Server was very nice and friendly but never told us we were there during Happy Hour until he brought us the check. There was no separate Happy Hour menu either so we had no idea. Got the wings which were good and a brisket sandwich which was dryer than the Sahara desert. If it wasn't for the coleslaw on the sandwich it would have been inedible. Even had to get a side of BBQ sauce to help with the dryness. Overall not super impressed

Great service, good food, great ambiance. Miss the rafters but great from a latter day ski bum.

Stopped by for an early dinner and was pleasantly surprised with alot of new updates to the the restaurant. Great happy hour menu with added items to the menu. Great table service and overall updates to the interior layout and furniture. Menu included the previous BBQ items but they added several salad, sandwiches and appetizers items. The butter grilled shrimp appetizers were well prepared and enjoyed the Mac n cheese bites.

I was sitting by the fireplace when a mouse ran by. Food was terrible. Drinks were weak. Staff especially in the kitchen were rude to each other. Over heard a chef call another staff member a cunt. Unappropriate behavior. No excuse.

Found an awesome spot with great food and atmosphere! Sandra was our bartender killed it on recommendations with brisket and lemon pepper wings. The only thing better than the food were the drinks. Will be back on next visit

Came on a Saturday night & the fire was on, they had a live jazz saxophone player. Server was attentive and food was good!

Absolutely terrible service, first time visiting Mammoth, completely rude waitress. Went in for one drink with my girlfriend and was treated very poorly. Please don’t visit here and waste your money.

The place itself is atmospheric, fries are perfect. But meat and service are not the best.

I have hope that this place will improve once the rest of the hotel (now Outbound Mammoth) is finished being renovated. The staff was super friendly and great. The food is just ok though. My husband spilt a rack of ribs and some fries. It was a HUGE rack so the value for the money is definitely there but they were a little dry. I would definitely give them another chance.

Stopped by this place for dinner after hearing about it from the hotel staff next door, Outbound Mammoth (fka- Sierra Nevada Resort). Upon entering there is a huge fireplace in the center of the room that divides the bar area from the dining area. Very cool country cabin vibe inside. We ordered at the counter a 2 meat and 2 sides platter. Both meats were Brisket with a side of Mac-n-cheese and coleslaw. Also ordered corn bread to try as well. Brisket was good but seemed old like it was sitting too long under a lamp. Coleslaw was surprisingly good. Mac-n-cheese was very good! Pasta cooked perfectly and cheese was amazing. Cornbread was not bad but not great. Portions filled us both up and could not fit anything more. In a side room they had some old school arcade games like Digdug, Simpsons and Frogger! Tempest was unfortunately not working. I would definitely like to come back and try the brisket again when they first open.

Food is gross, not good at all!!! We ordered nachos that were $26 with brisket that was all fat and served in a small paper container, like at a baseball game, cheese was cold. Bartender was not friendly. The music was good though, I enjoyed the atmosphere and it's very kid friendly which is amazing. So, if they would work on the food and service this could be an amazing place.
