Is starbucks is very understaffed. Not only that, they have a drive through, and they refuse to open it and use it. Not to mention they are closed Thursdays. Even though the starbucks has a huge lobby I feel that it's not a very inviting environment, and it is definitely not kid friendly. For this being a starbucks, it's a huge waste of space. Not what you would expect from starbucks.

Severely understaffed and staffed not trained properly. If you want to wait in line for 25 MINUTES for your drink this is the place. While waiting watched 3 drinks for others come out incorrect, another with a lid not fully on that spilled on customer. 9 people standing waiting for drinks while 1 person made drinks occasionally assisted by another person who was rotating positions. When I finally got my order it was also incorrect. Awful!

ERICA, DID NOT PROVIDE ANY KIND OF APOLOGY WHEN A WOMAN OF COLOR CONFRONTWD HER OF BRINGING A MALE PLUMBER INTO RHE RESTROOM.WITHOUT WARNING. SHE WAS DISSMISSIVE OF THE CUSTOMER CONCERN. MOSTLY THE WHITE CUSTOMERS WERE RECEIVING THEIR ORDERS WITHIN 5 MINUTES.

This is BY FAR the worst run Starbucks in California if not the world. Their drive-thru used to be open before rona but never since then. They are very slow and always seem understaffed. I rarely ever go to this Starbucks anymore.

8/11/25 I didn't actually go inside, but I could see it looked nice and a lot of people were walking in and out. I just needed some Internet service and they have an Internet connection you can get. They do shut the internet service off at closing. TY Starbucks! Conveniently located on the highway getting into Mammoth Lakes 5 minutes from US-395.

I’m giving overall 3.5 stars for the service cause drive true is always closed with an orange cone and order ahead usually disabled for this specific location. I know it’s not the workers it’s just this locations poor management.

Very busy. Not enough staff. Erica was great at keeping the drinks flowing. Only 2 associates. About 25 customers waiting on drinks. From the time I placed my order to get my drink was a 25 min wait

Waited is a long line , was super patient, only to get to the front and there was no oat Milk , I am allergic to almonds and lactose intolerant. Wish they put up a sign at least to say they were out .

This is the dirtiest Starbucks I have ever entered. The doors and windows had food and drink on them, floors were filthy and black, and the outside trash and weeds were disheartening considering the potential.

I came here after a long day for a pick me up drink. We came the day before and experienced great service and even better drinks yet, the next day it was the complete opposite. We ordered 5 drinks through the app. We arrived and our drinks were still not ready and we waited around 40 minutes for 5 drinks. They also made 2 of our drinks wrong and had to be remade. The workers barely knew what they were doing and had to ask me how to make a starbucks signature drinks correctly. I am not blaming the employees i am blaming the lack of training that they had. Whoever is in charge here needs to make some changes and prepare their employees correctly to leave customers satisfied. I will definitely not be returning to this location throughout my stay in mammoth. Their is much better local cafes.
