Horrible experience. My food came out after everyone else had already finished their meal. When I complained both the waiter and the manager told us that their food comes out when it is ready - no graciousness, no offering of anything until we requested. Do not recommend. I come to Mammoth often and I will NEVER go there again.

Came for dinner last night. We didn’t have a reservation so they said only bar seating was available if we could find a spot. We did. The bartender was great. Food was delicious. Ordered the Funghi pizza and Chicken Parmigiana. Enjoyed our dinner.

Food and service was amazing! I have very severe celiac disease (tiny bit of gluten and that’s me off to the ER) so dining out at restaurants that aren’t familiar to me is always a bit stressful. Our server was Natalie, she was amazing and so sweet about my allergy. I often feel bad mentioning my allergy a gazillion times but I have to be careful. When I told her about my allergy she very confidently told me exactly what could be modified on the menu to be gluten free. She even informed the kitchen it was a celiac order and doubled checked with them (I didn’t mention that I had celiac, she was just on top of it). So anyone who wants to dine out in mammoth and considers Vulcania, take it from someone who has zero tolerance to gluten…you’ll be safe here! I had a steak dish but there were other gluten free (after modification) options as well. One of the other ones I recall was a salmon dish

what a joke.
We walked in at 8pm on a Tuesday night to a mostly empty restaurant. We tell the hostess we’re a party of 2 and she says just a moment then comes back a minute later and tells us they’re not taking walk ins with no explanation… atp just say you’re lazy lol. And the bros call themselves professionals in the restaurant industry? 😂🥀
go to Gomez next door instead. They were poppin and still able to take walk-ins, I wonder why!

One of the most shockingly rude restaurant experiences. I was there under extenuating circumstances and instead of accommodating or attempting to be understanding, they made an already stressful situation much worse. I would not give them another dollar.
This place was great and our server Paige was phenomenal. She had all the best food recommendations and was very friendly.
You must order the chicken parm and rigatoni ravioli.

I am uncomfortably full and it is my own fault. Because everything was so good! The service was friendly and on point despite the crowds. Our server, Soza (sp?), was personable, prompt, and impressive at the bar. We had the orechitette nero and the salmon piccata.

Don't waste your money! We had a reservation at 4:45 for my birthday dinner (made 4 weeks in advance). The hostesses were super rude and said that the only table that they had available was one right by the front door. It was 27 degrees outside and people were coming into the restaurant constantly, so we were cold. We ordered kids meals first. $20 for Butter noodles. BUTTER NOODLES, which wasn't even that good. We ordered the caprese appetizer, and that never came. Our entrees came and the pasta dish we had was way too spicy (which was not reflected on the menu). If you are going to advertise James Beard and Michelin star chefs, the food better be spectacular, and it wasn't. Overall, such a letdown and the worst birthday dinner experience of my life.

To preface, I love spicy and heavily seasoned foods, but not everyone does, including half of my family. The scampi risotto and the Orecchiette with crab were both overly seasoned with chili oil and/or pepper flakes. It was overwhelming and took away from the other flavors. I had the salmon and it was delicious. No one else loved their meals. Appetizers had small portions and mediocre at best: We were a party of 6, including one child. I do not mind spending $500 on a fabulous meal, but unfortunately, this was not a hit.
