Our server Jessica gave 10/10 service as they were closing and tended to our every needs. Great place, accommodating and kind.

On Line menus were not correct. The new menu is different than what's on the website. Frustrating when you have a diabetic in your party that needs to plan ahead and make sure the restaurant serves food that can be consumed.

The restaurant itself is inside the Westin Hotel, is in good shape and is advertised as a fine dinning restaurant but I would say it’s just a family dining restaurant in a nice setting. It has a high end feel about it but to be honest they will let all hotel guests in, whether they wear flip flops or high heels, and I don’t see them turning anyone away. And that’s fine with me because my messy baby would definitely not meet the fine dining restaurant criteria ?

Staff was helpful and very friendly- the front of house lady was amazing at entertaining my 10mo baby (they keep playing peekaboo).

Drinks menu is average and they were able to do a decent margarita (our stick yard for any food and drink establishment).

Food was good although unnecessarily complicated. We ordered the halloumi as a starter and I’ve never seen halloumi served this way: smothered in about 10 other ingredients - from asparagus to pico de gallo and some cold grilled tomatoes - and served on an indescribable purée (pea or avocado or something else green). Just let the cheese shine for goodness sake, that was the only good thing in that plate and the only thing we wanted!

Same happened with the salmon. All the ingredients were good but unnecessary: it came on a carrot puree and was topped with pearl onions, peas, pickled daikon, purple potatoes, and frisée lettuce. Too much!

All in all was a good dinner but not fine dining in my opinion which was not a problem for us.

Ontbijt was niet bijzonder. Ik had croissant maar het smaakte er niet naar het was een verlept broodje. Het toetje de vorige avond was wel heel erg lekker, we hadden de brownie

Google hours until 11pm on Sunday, arrived at 10:24pm, three employees behind the bar socializing said they closed at 10pm, but the door was open/unlocked.

Same thing happened today, Monday. Open hours until 2pm, arrived at 1pm, bar/restaurant is dark - front desk employee told us Whitebark isn’t staffed right now.

I ordered the egg fried rice, it was so greasy and smelled bad. I think it was from the oil, I asked them what oil they use to cook their food and they told me that they used canola oil- of course, the cheapest, most toxic stuff.
The egg wasn’t scrambled and mixed with the rice, instead it was on the side and the yolk was runny. I hate runny yolk I wish they told me that the egg comes on the side and asked me how I liked the egg cooked.
But the stinky canola oil was just disgusting.

The turkey sandwich and burger are particularly good, with fresh ingredients and great flavor. This restaurant is better than those in the village and is conveniently located. Highly recommend trying it out!

Want to share different reviews for breakfast vs dinner restaurant services. Evening lounge and restaurant service was outstanding with best food even superior to anything in village. Breakfast was odd, service staff was polite enough but slow anI overwhelmed. Know it's hard to get service staff here due to high cost of living so maybe mngmt could train breakfast staff to be speedier, more attentive, and keep water glasses full. Bartenders were outstanding!!!

The ribs were very good. The side dishes with the ribs were lacking in taste and quality. The quality was lacking. The corn muffin should be served warm with butter. The potato salad did not taste good. Just serve a regular home style. Do try to make over fancy and loose appeal. White winter salad good, but slice it to allow ease in eating.

We dined at the Whitebark twice and had two breakfasts there as well. Overall the food was really good. The menu had creative options including really delicious healthy options. Dinner service was good (though breakfast service was much slower). My only major complaint about this restaurant which pulled down the review to a 3 was the manager. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to us. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the restaurant, there was strong smell of marijuana and we asked if she could do anything about it given the number of small children in the restaurant. She outright refused and said that she was too busy to do anything. Instead of speaking to the hotel manager to see if anything could be done, she walked away from us yelling that she was too busy “doing her job”. Unfortunately, for this restaurant, the manager has no place in the hospitality business. Restaurant owners should consider relocating her to performing skills that she may be better suited for rather than anything that requires hospitality or patron interactions. Thankfully, we reached out to the hotel manager who took the initiative of addressing the intrusive smell.I do not want to take away from the overall service of the restaurant - we found the waiters to be very helpful though they could have used more waitstaff as it was hard for the waitstaff to keep up with the tables.

We ate here for dinner, and it was great. Food was excellent and a good value for the area. Then we had breakfast twice, and both times it was disappointing. The cooks don't know how to properly cook eggs (they did not understand what poached eggs are supposed to be like, and burned the edges of a fried egg) and the sweet dishes like French toast and pancakes were also disappointing. It feels like they need to hire more knowledgeable staff for breakfast, but would recommend for dinner.

I have eaten here many times before, and food has always been satisfactory. Nothinh amazing, but good enough for Mammoth (not a foodie's haven). But last night was a new low - the kimchi fried rice was inedible (absolutely no taste), and the kale salad was beyond tough. My friend's halumi plate was so salty that she had to send it back. The best I can say, our waitress was very nice and the cocktails were good. Will not come back.

We ate at Whitebark twice as it was conveniently located at the Westin. The food was great. Lots of choice, creative menu and good vegetarian options. The only major criticism i would have is that the restaurant manager was awful. She was extremely rude and disrespectful to us, unbecoming of a restaurant of this caliber. The restaurant ownership and senior management should seriously consider putting her in a position where she does not interact with patrons (such as a dishwasher)

Had the halibut and it was overcooked which was surprising for a $45 dish. Crab soup was great. Service was slow and inattentive.
