For a restaurant touting only prime meats, the filet mignon at $71.- a La carte was sub-par, fatty, and tasted like they put a teriyaki sauce on it-disgusting!! If I'm paying $71.- for a 6oz filet it should be seared and seasoned with butter or a sauce of MY choice! For the three of us it was close to $400.- ridiculous!
Great venue and service. I had the swordfish (was good, not great), wife had a beet and shrimp salad (also good). Overall would go again.
Most of the food was properly cooked, specially the lamb chops but the fish plates were overcooked and dry for a party of 10 people
If you sit on one side of the restaurant there is lots of light and a view. If you sit on the other side it's dark, no view, no ambience and loud next to bar. We had reservations and they would not seat us on the nice side. All courses salad, appetizer, dinner and first round of drinks came out at the same time and then we were rushed by server to eat our $300 meal fast. If looking for a nice restaurant in town to celebrate occasions would recommend trying somewhere else.
Overpriced for what it is! $78 for a 8oz steak in a hotel lobby restaurant that not even a high end steak house is insane
Waitress was not well informed on menu, nor did she appear to be interested in finding out answers to our questions on the menu. The food was just ok. The best part of the meal were the cocktails. They have some training to do with their staff.
My wife and I booked this restaurant for last Sunday 3/2/25 dinner. The hostess tried to seat us next to two large family groups one large table of very young kids, the other large table was their parents, it was very noisy, so before she sat us we asked to be moved. The hostess put the menus down and walked away, a minute later the floor boss singled to us to walk toward the bar area and he apologized and confirmed they were such a loud group and no one should be seated there. Walking towards the bar area there were a few empty tables in the restaurant but he told us they were reserved, even though we had a reservation. He offered us a table in the bar area which was actually far from the dinning room and we accepted and were seated. The server was prompt and I ordered my usual Manhattan, he explained they were not making them this evening, so I ordered a Markers Mark "Neat", our drinks came and the Makers barely covered the bottom of the glass, we toasted and ordered our meal. The server checked back with us for more drinks, so I ordered a Vodka Martini and waited and waited, 20 minuets, later when the food came I followed up on the martini and he explained they were short on martini glasses, the martini finally came half way through the meal. Our soup was on the warm side and our cesar salads barley had dressing and was basically a huge plate of chopped lettuce. The kick in the face came with the bill, they added $1.00 charge for my drink to be poured "neat", it wasn't the $1.00 it was the fact they could not originally provide my requested Manhattan. The restaurant could use a face lift and is dated, we will never go back and very surprised a Westin would operate in such a poor manor. I normally never write reviews, but felt I needed to provide my experience to others. I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone even if you are staying in the hotel. There are much better restaurants in Manmmoth for dinning.
Food was Fair but not worth the price. Our Server was nice doing her best but had too many tables to give us decent attention. Our table was in a terrible location next to the server station so we had to watch them handling cleared plates and moving in front of us distracting from our dinner experience. There was a big rip on the seat of the booth. Won't be returning.
If you're looking for a really good meal, drink, experience then this isn't your place. But value wise it is what it is. A hotel restaurant with average food and service. Personally I prefer to pay a bit more for high quality.
Our server Jessica gave 10/10 service as they were closing and tended to our every needs. Great place, accommodating and kind.

This restaurant was great 2 years ago, but for the last two years the quality of the food, and even the chairs have gone drastically down. The service was excellent but the food was terrible. It was greasy and tasteless. It's very unfortunate since mammoth has limited choice, but I will not plan to come back.
Hands down one of the best ribeyes I have ordered from any top tier restaurant I have been to. Mood was nice, music was just right. Just the right amount of service to get what we needed and never a bother to speak to. They didn't feel overbearing (not a mouth full of food when they asked if we needed anything) Great experience over all. Would recommend.
Stopped by for Happy Hour after arriving at the Monache then went back for dinner. Our server Bobby was excellent. The burgers were delicious. Would not hesitate to go back.
Top quality menu with artistry of presentation and combination of items makes for a meals not to be missed.
On Line menus were not correct. The new menu is different than what's on the website. Frustrating when you have a diabetic in your party that needs to plan ahead and make sure the restaurant serves food that can be consumed.
