So grateful for the kindness I received from A Pizza Place! As a thru-hiker I rolled into town at 9pm, where most places had already closed. When I called they were so kind to throw a pepperoni pizza in for me last minute. Hungry for any real food, it tasted amazing!! but I stand by it when I say this was the BEST PIZZA ON TRAIL. Amazing family that runs this place, who set an awesome example of kindness and compassion for all. How you have helped this hiker will not be forgotten!

We ordered the vegan version of their "Napoli" pizza. We were really looking forward to it since it had great reviews for their non-vegan version. What we received was a pizza that might have had the garlic sauce and possibly some vegan cheese on it and 11 pieces of tomatoes for 8 slices. No fresh basil. Very dry, sad looking pizza that I would have been very embarrassed to send out to a customer. We suggested returning this pizza and perhaps getting another pizza at 50%. We were told the Manager was out of town and no one there had the authority to approve. They could give us the Manager's cell phone # and we could call ourselves. What kind of business doesn't leave a DOA when a Manager is out of town? And seriously, the employee should have called the Manager vs handing out the Manager's cell phone # to strangers.Did end up keeping the pizza, such a hassle otherwise. Tried it and it definitely did not have much on the pizza dough other than the 11 pieces of tomatoes. Even if they had remembered the fresh basil, it would not have saved this "pizza".Long unsatisfactory review mainly because we were really looking forward to the pizza and the business practice is sorely lacking.
Very poor customer service and made me wait for over a hour for my pizza to be ready . Won't be coming here again

Great pizza. Called at 230pm was ready in 20in as promised and delicious. Usual go to Giovannis but didnt open till 5pm so picked here and just as good if not better.
Awesome pizza and even better people! Everytime we've been there they've been more than friendly. Pizza is delicious. Highly recommended.
I would like to Acknowledge, and thank "Danny " .This young man's effort to deliver excellent Customer Service was admirable.I left feeling like Danny went far out of his way to make sure that my Z Pizza experience was just right.I thought to myself, I would have enjoyed having him on my crew, I was the G.M. at our Mammoth Lakes Domino's.Just want to give him a"Heart-felt THANK YOU FOR THE HARD WORK ?
Wow. I have never had such a bad experience with Pizza. Jenny set the bar for what not to do with a customer who was still waiting for a $200 pizza order after 2.5 hours and multiple calls to provide the same address over and over. Frozen pizzas tonight and grateful . And, as they are not answering the phone, my cancel had to be with Amex. How are you still in business Zpizza?

Really great vegan Berkeley pizza. The dough and sauce are nice, great toppings. We added fresh arugula to ours which is delicious. Thank you for having a quality vegan option that isn't just a salad. We will order again for sure!
I had the pleasure of paying these folks $50 for the worst pizza I've ever had. It was burnt and there was very little sauce. When I say very little sauce, it's like they took a paint brush and spread it out as thin a they could. If your going to charge a premium price for a pizza you should at least provide a premium pizza. With the closing of Dominoes in town you have an opportunity to rake in some cash, but it won't be from me if you don't improve. I wouldn't have minded paying that much if the pizza had been good.
First time customer... I checked out their menu online and liked the pictures of the pizzas. Ordered three and the pizza is tasty but very light on toppings. You pretty much get bread and cheese. The actual pizza doesn't come close to their pictures online. On a mushroom and pepperoni pizza, there was one mushroom per slice. Checkout their website picture for Tuscan mushroom pizza and what you actually get.
