Had I known, I likely would’ve skipped it. The citrusy tang clashed with the earthy matcha in a way that didn’t quite work for my palate. Still, I’d paid for it, so I powered through.

The hot matcha latte had potential, but the balance was off—too much matcha powder led to a thick sediment settling at the bottom. Unfortunately, my final sip delivered a gritty mouthful that left an unpleasant aftertaste.

While this visit wasn’t the most delightful sip-wise, I’m not holding it against Yellow Vase. I’d come back for other offerings, but I’ll be steering clear of the matcha next time..“
