Unassuming sushi restaurant but sushi was delicious and fresh. Staff was very kind. Hot sake helped us to warm up.

This place is AMAZING. Tony, the chef, took great care of me and gave me a curated menu, focusing on emphasizing on the freshness and the quality of the fish, that MELTS in your mouth. The service provided was nothing less than excellent. I am definitely a regular now. Thank you Dash Dashi Sushi!

After an awful experience with The Strand we showed up here. We were sat and had drinks in minutes. The staff was happy to share details on everything. It was one of the best rolls I ever had! Plus we got a picture with a giant tuna! The Omakase course my friends did was amazing I even tried barracuda! Just look at the photos all fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. It can get loud so off hours might be better if you are sensitive to noise

Not fresh or authentic. If you like rolls or nigiri that don’t taste good and are covered in sauce then this is ur place. Go to sugar fish next door, better quality and more affordable

The sushi was extremely fresh, and everything we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent. The waters were always refilled. Timely, they checked back on our table several times, and the best part is, they were friendly! This is becoming one of our favorite places, when we're in town. Will be back soon.
Cute little restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Started off great. The server was very nice and helpful. We were there during the happy hour where some things were cheaper. Server kept mentioning I'm going to put this drink and that on the happy hour. When we got our bill none of our drinks were discontinued. Had to ask to revise the bill. First was told there was a limit which didn't make sense. Then the bill was corrected. Just wondering how many people don't pay attention and just pay their bill.
The food in this place is excellent. I had a mango salmon roll with no rice and my friend had the ‘nest' plus edemame and all was good. The only problem is that this place has upped the noise putting a loud thumping music on top of the customers conversation and yelling noise. The place was full and it was impossible to hear each other. I don't think that I will go there again unless they resolve the noise issue.
Best sushi ever! Nan is such a great server, very friendly and helpful :)

Everything we ordered was delicious. The “top secret” omakase item was a bit disappointing as it was just a standard hand cut roll. Noise level is LOUD during dinner. You literally need to shout across the table. Made the experience less enjoyable as it is difficult to have conversations. Service also felt rushed as it is a small restaurant with not a lot of seating.
