The super deluxe burrito with red sauce stands out as a favorite. Everything is prepared on-site and quickly, contributing to a great atmosphere. There are counter seats for about a dozen people inside and picnic tables outside for additional seating. Parking can be a consideration, as there is a need to pay meters in the area. The staff is known to be wonderful, working fast and providing no-fuss service that makes the dining experience enjoyable. For those dining in, "platos" like carnitas or carne asada are favored, while the wet carnitas burrito is messy in the best way and highly recommended for takeout. El Tarasco is a perfect stop after surfing or biking on The Strand, open late enough for post-beach cravings.
