The foo was fine, my waitress kept saying weird and rude things to me about eating alone so I guess dont eat here alone.

We had a wonderful first time experiencell. All three dishes were wonderful. Our server was exceptional.  polite, knowledgeable, attentive. I wish I got his name. He was a young man with dark hair. The only negative was unfortunately there was a party of six young ladies who were very loud. Normally that wouldn't bother us, but my mom is 99 and it was a lot for her. we will certainly be back.

Amazing experience, everything was great! It's rare these days to be treated to first class service regardless of the cost.

Dinner was great as usual. We have been to countless wine dinners over the years at various David Slay restaurants and they have always been top notch.

I loved their smoked Gouda burger with the best sweet potato fries that I've ever had! Nice menu, something for everyone. Excellent cocktails, Slay's own wines, and always my favorite desserts at all of the David Slay restaurants. We couldn't stop moaning between bites of the seasonal pear almond tart! The apple berry crumble was sold out, otherwise we would have ordered both. Lively ambiance and neighborhood gem.

We took an "out of town" visitor to Fete on her first night in Manhattan Beach. They seated us on the window so we had fun "people watching" the passers-by in addition to the lively crowd in the restaurant. The waiter could not have been nicer or more attentive. The perfectly prepared drinks came fast and were followed quickly by a delicious 3-dip appetizer. The main courses (Chicken Paillard & Tenderloin Sandwich with French Fries) were excellent and the Chocolate Creme Brulee was to-die-for. A lovely evening that left all of us feeling ready to go back soon. Thank you Slay Group!

The food and service was great. Really enjoyed it. We had a extremely loud group of people sit down next to us half way through our meal and that sort of spoiled the evening for us.

Love this restaurant! The service was outstanding and only surpassed by the amazing food. Can't wait to eat there again!

We went on a Thursday night and they had a pianist. I love live music. The martinis were really good. The oysters and sea bass were also good. My husband had the chicken paillard and he enjoyed that too. Will def add this spot to the rotation.

We had the most wondrous birthday celebration dinner last night! Impeccable service, warm, friendly and attentive starting with the bar service while we chose to wait for the table of our choice in the front, by the open windows. The pear cocktail was exactly what I wanted, delicious, light and extremely flavorful. The food was scrumptious...house made pitas, a trio of hummus and other fabulous dips, the French Onion Soup to die for (I'm a French Onion Soup connoisseur), lamb meatballs which I had to take partially home to savor them once again the next day...who needs to leave the appetizers on the menu?! The wines were superb, the entrees were perfection, the salads crisp, multi-faceted and amazing and we even, somehow, had room for the delightfully light cheesecake! The music was wonderful, it was crowded, but not overly so...a real Bistro fun atmosphere. We'll be back very soon. Go, you will be happy that you did! 😁

I recently dined at Fête Bistro by Slay, and their burger was a standout! Perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor, the patty had a great char while staying tender inside. Fresh toppings and a toasted bun made every bite delicious—one of the best burgers I’ve had.
The service was fantastic—warm, attentive staff who made the meal feel special without hovering. Food came out fast and hot. The ambience was cozy yet lively, with soft lighting, stylish decor, and just-right background music.
Fête Bistro by Slay nails food, service, and vibe. Can’t wait to go back!
