Exquisite sushi 🍣, along with its excellent service and Yume's fantastic ambiance, makes for a perfect meal.

After the sumptuous meal, you can stroll down to the world-famous Manhattan Beach Pier. A true gem in this wonderful city.

I absolutely love this place. It used to be called Fusion, but rebranded sometime in the last year or so. My favorite fresh roll is the morningside roll — always SO GOOD! 😋 the Ami roll and Mystery rolls are also bomb. Also highly recommend the jalapeño cheese katsu curry as well.

Yu-Me is easily one of the best sushi spots in Manhattan Beach. The fish is always super fresh and high quality — you can taste the difference right away. Every time I come here, the food is consistently excellent.

Big shoutout to Mindy, who takes care of us every visit. She’s attentive, friendly, and somehow always remembers what we like. That kind of service makes a huge difference and keeps us coming back.

If you’re looking for great sushi, good vibes, and top-notch service, Yu-Me is the place.

YuMe in Manhattan Beach is solid. The sushi is fresh and tasty—loved the Alaskan Roll and the Zen Roll especially. Service was great too; our waiter, Mindy, was friendly and on it. Easy spot to recommend if you’re in the area and want good sushi without the fuss.

if you’re asian, don’t go because you’ll feel discriminated against. they only serve their white customers. the two korean waitresses were the worst. they wouldn’t even look at us when we had our hand up to request service. they didn’t give us water, ginger, or wasabi. they also didn’t help us when our little one had a spill. extremely overpriced and the food wasn’t even good. the white people sitting next to us were giving us the stink eye just because we had a little one. we only tipped the one guy who served us. horrible experience, do not recommend.

All the rolls they served had similar taste, nothing outstanding. Service was a bit slow and the staff were always confused about something. I think they’re not trained enough to handle a big table.

Whenever we crave sushi, we always go to Yume (formerly known as Fusion Sushi). Last time, we were a party of 10 and they brought foods out sporadically rather than all at once. So people didn’t feel comfortable eating and we were waiting on all the foods to come out before all of us started eating.

We used to enjoy our dining experience at Yume. It is important to note that the current condition
of the bathrooms is below satisfactory. The last time we ate here, there was a large puddle of standing water in front of the sink in women bathroom with soaked wet paper towels thrown in it. This is not only very unsightly, but very dangerous due to fall hazard. I personally was near slipping due to all the water on the floor. I agree with other reviews that since management of this restaurant changed, the service and cleanliness is not up to par. In addition, they previously accommodated our request when making reservations for large parties, but not anymore.

I have to mention that the food quality is good, but unfortunately we won’t be back due to lack of customer service and reasonable facility maintenance.

2 stars only for the good food that we had the first file we came. We came over again cause we loved the food but this time not only the sushi was burned, but also the Service was HORRIBLE! We had a baby with us who dropped the water before we ordered anything, the service after that was horrible!! Either you do not let any kids in with a sign or you need provide respectful service! Even the adult person can accidentally drop a water it does not give anyone a privilege to provide horrible service. The waiter didnt even said sorry or anything about the burned food! Will Not recommend, if you dont want to have ruined day, just go somewhere positive!

Since it was my first time visiting the U.S., I didn’t know that tipping is expected at local restaurants (I have no problem with paying tips).

However, after we finished our meal and paid, no one said anything at the counter. But when we left, the staff chased after us and kept pressuring us to leave a tip. One of them kept rolling their eyes and had a very rude attitude.

I understand that tipping is part of the culture here, and I’m willing to pay, but their attitude was so bad that it honestly made me really upset!
They acted as if we owed them money — if they had just explained it to us nicely, we would have happily paid the tip.

If you expect to be treated with respect, this is definitely not the place to go.
