They offer a great variety of fresh food. I love dining here. Employees are always welcoming, prices are reasonable and the place is always kept clean.

went to pickup french dip for a friend and went back later for us. it still is the best french dip anywhere!!! only problem is no shoestring fries!!! the coleslaw was great, but fries are better! please bring the fries back!!! please!!!customer service was great. i can't remember her name, but thank you for your help, twice!!! she was only one there nov 3rd when we went first time. she made it great for us to have our lunch at the beach...thought of everything. thanks!!!

Enjoyed their take out service tonight as we are all locked down.The entire experience was so easy and the food was waiting for us with easy and safe pick up.Entire staff were wearing masks and we paid over the phone when ordering so didn't have to touch anythingCame beautifully packaged and was cooked very well. The quality of their rolls used to be a little bit better.We all need to support our local favorite restaurants to help get them through this period of quarantining in order to help them keep all their staff employed.

This review is based on service and new charges they have added, unbeknownst to me (the customer).The woman at the entrance was quite unfriendly and curt, when giving me information. She was inhospitable and unwelcoming. I really wish she would've sat today out.In reference to the undisclosed charges, I noticed a $4.95 packaging and service fee. Since when is this ok??I understand these businesses are crashing and burning because of COVID-19 and revenue decline.But I, as a loyal customer, should NEVER be punished for something I can't control.That charge is an absolute gyp!

The food was wonderful and they're only doing takeout dining now. I hadn't been to Houston's in years and I'm glad I noticed it while driving west on Rosecrans to do some shopping. On my way home I stopped and ordered a kale & chicken salad with wild rice cooked in champagne sauce, absolutely delicious. It's a definite yes for a return visit.
