The food, service and general decor and atmosphere were top notch. We had a fabulous time celebrating our daughter's graduation and my birthday recently. Would highly recommend.

I like to think that we are regulars at the Manhattan Il Fornaio but we haven't gone for a few months we brought a couple of friends there to celebrate my husband's birthday. I made the reservations and requested to be seated in David's section. We have had David for our server for years. He saw us a welcomed us with open arms. He was welcoming to our friends as well. We shared pictures of family and it was as if we had never had a lapse of months. I asked for his opinion of the featured wines and he got us a good one. The food is as delicious as ever. Our friends loved the beauty of the place and loved the ambiance. A good time was had by all.

Nice atmosphere and my food was good. But my husband had to send his meal back as it was tough (Osso Bucco) and my friend wasn't thrilled with the Chicken Parmesan (It was served over mashed potatoes). The staff graciously took my husband's meal back and replaced it with Scallopini - which my husband enjoyed. It was an enjoyable meal in general but don't think my friend or my husband are interested in going back soon.

I added specific notes to this reservation saying that it was my son's girlfriend's 16th birthday and to please make it very special. Nothing was said when they arrived and their waitress was awful. So rude in fact that they felt awkward asking her to take their picture. Why ask if someone is coming in for a special celebration if it gets ignored. So disappointed and I never write reviews

Chicken parm-not bad but it wasn't hot though the mashed potatoes and asparagus was hot. The chicken needed addl sauce My friends veal she said was a bit tough which my chicken was a bit hard to cut thru too. Not the same as Bev hills. The shank was good as was the risotto. Maybe because it was a Monday evening, but food was ok. Service was good though

Plenty of available parking. Seated earlier than time of reservation. Service was attentive but not intrusive of conversation. Ambiance allowed for casual conversation. Nice selection of salads and Italian cuisine. Entrees were delicious and serving sizes large enough for take home leftovers.

Wonderful experience. My bestest neighbor took me for my birthday. This place makes their own pasta. Great food. Great atmosphere. Had a glass of wine.

Sad to say, we were not very satisfied with dinner tonight. The olive oil that they gave us with the balsamic vinegar for the bread ( that you have to pay for?) tasted very rancid, and I really don't like to use that word, but I have no other way to describe it. My daughter's salad also had a bitter taste to it. My salad (the Bietole) not sure if I spelled it correctly was ok, but also had some bitterness to it! The cauliflower my daughter ordered was bland and flavorless. My tube Pasta Arrabbiata was the saving grace of the meal! It was delicious. I probably should have sent some of the items back, but I didn't because I just figured, not coming back for dinner is the better option. So sad, because I have eaten at Il Fornaio in Woodland Hills and Thousand Oaks, I believe, and it has always been excellent.

Il Fornaio is Sealy's a good choice. Great food, beautiful ambiance, excellent service and a very nice win selection. We went for dinner, but we also enjoy their happy hour. in addition, we have attended large events in their private rooms. It's just a great venue overall.

I was disappointed that the first two tables I was taken to hadn't been cleaned yet. So, we kept haven't to wait. Shouldn't they know? I was shocked that a fine Italian restaurant was charging extra for bread. After spending $35 for a bowl of pasta, you'd think that these cheapskates could spare a couple of pieces of bread for customers. All that aside, the salmon served with my pasta was excellent.

I had requested the indoor patio where I had dined four or five times previously over the last several months. When we arrived, we were told the room was not available as it was to be set up for a banquet the following day. We had to be seated in the adjacent room which was too noisy. Disappointing.

Really disappointed in our visit. We got there just as they opened, and it felt like we were a bother there. Our drinks were rarely refilled (water/iced tea), they would ask questions like 'how is your food' and not care how we answered, and it just felt like we spent a lot of money for a subpar experience. If they had been super busy, I would have understood more - but they weren't.

They have the best pasta in town, the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the best waitresses. The recipe is a secret, but the flavor is amazing. You can’t go wrong coming to eat here.
