Today started off on a high note with the promise of a $1 mango smoothie from Jamba Juice. However, when I arrived at the store, my excitement was met with the disappointment of a broken card reader. Since I typically don't carry cash, I was relieved to find that my thoughtful husband had left some dollar bills in my wallet. I ended up generously sharing my newfound cash with other customers, feeling like the benevolent patron of a smoothie-themed strip club.
When I finally reached the counter, they had run out of mango smoothie, but I settled for a strawberry one without complaints. Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, disaster struck. I clumsily dropped my smoothie all over myself as soon as I stepped out of the car at home, turning myself into a human smoothie dispenser.
However, there was a silver lining to the whole mishap. The half of my daughter's smoothie that I stole turned out to be absolutely amazing.
