Nick's Manhattan Beach

I've eaten here a couple of times. We took my brother out to eat for his birthday and it's one of his favorite places to eat. My son and mom had the prime rib sandwich. I enjoyed the chicken thai salad and my brother enjoyed the cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their side dishes and we all shared a bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet. It was a nice evening. Conner was our server who was very attentive and provided great service. I wish I would have requested an inside table; sitting outside had a different vibe. It was a little chilly at first but the heaters allowed us to take off our sweaters and enjoy our meal and conversation.

Always so good. Our absolute favorite! We feel so at home and everyone is so friendly and approachable. We are often surprised how long we've been there bc we fall into regular catch up of the day conversations and never look at our watches. Loved our Bistro plates. How do you always serve the most amazing petite filet mignon??!!!

We met at Nick's to catch up after a long time apart - there were three of us and we sat outside on a beautiful day. The waiter, Aleck, was fantastic and did not rush us but was always nearby if we needed anything. The food was outstanding, sushi, thai noodle salad, and a chicken kale salad. If we only had room for dessert, we would have ordered a butter cake. Outstanding place for a girls lunch!

We really enjoyed Nick's. We sat out on the covered terrace and it was great. Food lovely and good choices. Wines excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Alec was a very attentive server. He recommended the seasonal meatloaf dish. I wouldn't have tried it without his recommendation and it was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit and will definitely ask if the meatloaf is still available.

Being creatures of habit, we tend to always get the same or similar meals at Nicks. They're always good. Our server, Theo, was excellent. He is superior at his job.

We had an amazing lunch here. We were comfortable sitting outside with a warmer on and view of the ocean. Enjoyed Sancere, spicy tuna roll sushi and a FABULOUS Sea Bass with yummy mashed potatoes. We were completely satisfied splitting the meal and tempted by their DELICIOUS butter Pound cake regardless! Highly recommend this place!!

Everything was perfect from the service to the food, I really like to eat there but this time it was the best experience I had, the waitress gave us an excellent service and all the staff was very friendly, 100% recommended !!!

One of our worst experiences at Nicks. We usually go and have a great time but the timing of our reservation, 2pm, seemed to be during their turnover of staff and we were 25 min in without our water, food took much longer than normal and we had asked to have the heater turned on only to have a manager turn it off bc he ‘thought' we wanted it off.

Poor experience last night. Service: slow and por communication Food significantly delayed. One of orders contained tomatoes when one requested no tomatoes. Zero attention to allergies. Hostess- as usual, the young blonde man is excellent. Unsure as to why service was soo bad last night, just last month, it was excellent.

The hostess was very accommodating because I requested an earlier time than my original. Thank you Nick's! Food was excellent as usual!!!

Always pleased with a night at Nick's. I was meeting a friend that I hadn't seen in some time, so I wanted 100% assurance of good food, service, and ambience. Nick is the first place I thought of. It did not disappoint. We had a lovely dinner of a really delicious Caesar salad, Cioppino, and Chicken Piccata. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert as they some delicious sounding desserts! Next time, I will have to pace myself better!

Have dined many times at Nicks When I made the reservation, I requested a larger booth, and unfortunately, they sat us in a tiny booth. I asked for my sandwich to be prepared plain without any spice and it came with the spice. Took a long time for them to. I really felt they should've taken it off my bill and they did not. Won't be returning again.

The service was impeccable and our server attentive. We celebrated a birthday and had a treat with candle. Food consistently delicious!!!
