Petros Restaurant

We had an open table reservations and got there earlier to find out that our friends were already seated outside under our name. When we came in they told us that we didn't have reservations but seated us inside and we were waiting for our friends for 15 minutes, not knowing that they were there, but the hostess had no clue of the whole situation. From that point on we were so upset and had a bad experience on the evening. Services was ok but the food was mediocre.

Our family has been coming to Petros for about 15 years now. The food is good and the service too. Recently the portions are getting smaller with the prices rising. Our server, Matthew is good and made some good accommodations for a dish that was a bit too strong for us. We will return to Petros !!

I never thought I would entertain writing a negative review about Petros. It had been our favorite dining spot for so long. We had a 4:30 reservation for Mother's Day and had requested an outdoor table because we were bringing our small dog. When we were shown to our table we were told that our dog had to sit outside the black iron railing that separated the seating areas from the adjacent sidewalk. When we questioned that, we were told that there was a new manager and there was no flexibility. We were certain of two things: We were not dining there while our dog was outside the railing on the sidewalk. And that there WERE other dogs in the outdoor seating area. While no restaurant is obligated to afford us this privilege, the timing was a huge disappointment. We have dined there often and there were always multiple guests who bring their pets. We will find a new favorite spot to dine.

This restaurant has been here a long time yet I am surprised when I bring guests that have not been there yet. It was a big hit they all loved the food especially the dips , lemon egg soup and the lamb.

We were outside,so the noise level was fine. But inside was too loud for us. Food is always very good!

Great night at Petros celebrating a friend's birthday. We requested an outside table and they sat us at one right by a heater with was perfect! Dimitri was our server and was very busy but helped us all make perfect choices for our wine and food orders. Food and wine were all fantastic! They also brought out an amazing piece of Tiramisu with a candle for us to help celebrate our friends birthday. All in all a wonderful night. Thank you Petros!

Terribly noisy - people were screaming behind us! Too chilly to eat outside. Complained to the front desk!

Food and service were amazing but it is SO NOISY we couldn't barely hold a conversation without screaming.

I've been coming here for years. Super disappointed. Service was not good. The server seemed annoyed that they had to be there and work. Food was ok. Will not be returning.

Always good to come her. Ambiance is upbeat, noise level high inside, low outside, where we sat. Service was there when needed. Food is consistently good, horiatiki salad, simple but tasty. Octopus and beets were delicious, as well as lamb chops.

Petros is our local fave! Great food and drinks, great service, and always a reliably wonderful meal. Thanks Petros, see you again real soon!

We have eaten at Petros several times over the last 7 years. This time we were disappointed with the wine list. There used to be a reasonable selection of Greek wines at reasonable prices. Today there are only 4 with just one Greek red wine at an eye popping $75 which wasn't very good.

Similarly, the vast majority of domestic red wines were $65 or more! With no good value wines on the menu, we had a bottle of the Petros 2021 Semele wine (which was very good) from the central coast of CA but priced at an exorbitant $75! 😕 Almost all wine by the glass on the menu was around $20! 😕

We were greeted and seated promptly. Service was good as was everything we ordered.

While food prices were ok, the prices for wine were just absurd.

Great service from Hostess to waitress! Food was excellent. We had the moussaka & feta stuffed chicken. The moussaka was huge! The chicken had a beautiful crispy skin yet juicy. I don't remember the names of the dessert but the custard filled one & the strawberry mille fuise (?) were both delicious!
