The owners have opened the Smashed Wagyu Pasta Shop around the corner on Rosecrans after closing Pisces due to lease increase. Check them out. We recently visited Kyoto and Tokyo and found Pisces to be an authentic Japanese shop with generous portions of fresh, atractive sushi, sashimi, and Chirashi (similar to Poke' bowls). Priced right, too.
When I lived nearby, I ate the Chirashi bowls and Spicy Ramen multiple times a week! I would always call in the order before leaving work. Still my favorite sushi place!
