RICE Healthy Japanese Dining

Absolutely love this place. My daughter and I both have celiac disease and it’s 100% gluten-free. The Rolls were outstanding. Very rarely do we get to have specialty rolls with tempura lobster, ponzu sauce, and Ramen noodles. The sushi was extremely fresh. Service was excellent. Love that they had gluten-free beer, our favorite from Colorado, Holidaily. At the end of the meal, without ordering it, they provided chamomile tea. This was a soothing end to a wonderful meal.

A good little japanese spot with great ambiance and design. The rolls they served were tasty but seemed a little small if I am being honest. We got 2 and still could eat quite a bit but prices can stack up quick here. Overall I would come for maybe a roll and a good sake. Otherwise I don't think I would spend too much. Otherwise it is a great place to go and if you are looking to splurge on some tasty sushi in Manhattan Beach, this is a great choice!

Rice is, without a doubt, the most thoughtful Vegan sushi experience we've ever had. The depth, the creativity, the loving attention given to every dish, is remarkable. If you have ever tried Vegan sushi, you know there's a minimum "avocado cucumber" standard but every once in a while you find an artist. Please do yourself a favor and try Rice.

I recently visited Rice Healthy Japanese Dining, and it was an incredible experience! The food was truly authentic, with standout dishes like sushi and salmon that were fresh and flavorful. The miso soup was especially delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again!

This was our first time trying Japanese food, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find delicious vegan options available. My wife and I truly enjoyed the meal, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They guided us through the menu and helped us pick the best dishes. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place!

Got terribly sick from this food. Asked the owner if they could do a partial refund and they argued with me on the phone and told me to get a doctor’s note. Super disappointing for such an incredibly expensive restaurant

Ramen is not very flavorful. Vegetarian sushi was missing umami.

Incredible food and excellent service. Can’t wait to come back! The Lobster Dynamite roll and the Magic Seafood roll are fantastic. The Double Dragon is a culinary masterpiece. We also tried the amazing portobello mushroom fries and some buffalo cauliflower wings that brought tears to my eyes…. because my lifetime dining experiences are all downhill from here (or it was the chili spice in my eyes, hard to say).

Came to Rice for dinner and ordered the crispy rice flight and the crunch miso ramen. Thoroughly enjoyed the crispy rice. I thought they all tasted good. The broth on the ramen was tasty but the contents of the ramen were different from what I’m accustomed to having avocado and crispy onions in it. Definitely a nice place to visit when in the area. #Veganuary

Good atmosphere, outdoor seating was great. Kind service and good food. I usually struggle to find non-pork ramen options - they have plenty of seafood vegatarian options!

Cute Japanese place just off the main road of Manhattan Beach. The menu is gluten free/dairy free/ pescetarian hence there are a lot of nice options even with dietary restrictions

If I could give 15 stars I would Everything about this place is superb. The food is beyond delicious, fresh, and several vegan options too. Our server, Taya was so friendly kind and professional. It is very clean and we took our sons and our teenage grandchildren here and everyone had a great time and they loved all the food. Our favorite dining place, small and just lovely atmosphere with such good food. You won t be disappointed here. Bon Appetite
