Last night my family: son, daughter-in-law, two teenage grandchildren, my wife and myself, had an outstanding dinner. Son and daughter-in-law are vegan, and the teen grandchildren are, let us say, picky eaters while my wife and I are more or less foodies. Every dish and drink order was raved about, ranging from the shared 7 cheese Mac & mushroom starter and the avacado hummus with just cooked pita bread, the blueberry lemonade the kids enjoyed, the farmers bowl my son had and the pasta dish my daughter-in-law enjoyed to my wife's simple fish and chips and my salmon. The desserts were also a hit from a burnt brown sugar cinnimon confection to a chocolate budino to a wonderful version of an apple turnover. Everything was a hit, which with this diverse group of eaters is amazing.
The food was very good, and the service was excellent at the bar. Both the pork belly appetizer and the flank steak were great!
Not a bad place and the food was good but took quite a while to show up. Server was friendly but slow.
Fantastic brunch! A beautiful building and great brunch options. Mimosa tray was a bonus ;) Can’t wait to come back to try out happy hour at the bar.
Excellent restaurant and food. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 is because we were not assigned a seat indoor and price s are high. We sat at the bar which actually was pretty good. Few selections for dinner. Overall, a very good restaurant.
We had a great time and feed here. Walk in table of 6 which was accommodated with no hassle despite them being busy already. Both the breakfast and lunch menus were available with plenty of good choices across the board. Modern and trendy vibe. Would definitely go again.
Service was fabulous and the food was great. Wish I knew about the outdoor area on the second floor. Great ambiance. I recommend the duck meatballs, lobster and crab cakes, brocollini, cobb salad (loved their bacon). Buratta flatbread was ok, but I wasn’t wowed. For drinks, the my paloma (with mezcal) was superb! Bloody mary was also good.
Seated promptly and given a chance to peruse the menu which is significantly larger for drinks than for food, the restaurant is spotless and the decor is formal yet relaxing. We ordered mezze to start which were simply superb but it started to go downhill from there. The burger patties were nice but the fries were just so small that they had no substance and half of them were inedible; the fish itself was nice - the above applies to the chips - but doing it as three small pieces in batter again just didn't really work (and as a Brit, we know what works with fish and chips). Also then slightly disappointed upon arrival of the bill to find that we were charged extra for more flatbread just to finish off the mezze dips. Service was excellent but for what I paid and what I'd seen beforehand, I was expecting much better.
There was a very wide option on the menus and they were very accommodating for substitutions. Steak was very good - perfectly prepared. Excellent wait staff.

I really dig this place. Cool atmosphere, great food and a kick ass bar. Located in the trendy 2nd street area of long beach. This location has an open kitchen area an upstairs dining area and an outdoor patio with heat lamps to boot. I love the bar area as all the spirits are lined wall To ceiling. We had the best bartender who not only made strong cocktails but was knowledgeable about all the spirits as well. I had the bison short rib and the creamiest tomato soup grilled cheese croutons included. This looks like a good place to go on the weekends or after work. Will be back
Randy our server was absolutely outstanding! While the food was more than a bit pricey, I would eat there again especially if Randy were serving. He was professional, courteous, and thoughtful. Clearly, a stellar part of your staff. In these difficult times facing the hospitality/culinary industry, it is good to know you still have an exceptional staff member
That was my first visit and definitely will not be the last. Had lunch there with a friend and I can say that it is a must try Nice atmosphere, yummy food and friendly staff
First things first - Angie is awesome!!! She was so kind, checked in on us, even proactively let us know “the bar is backed up”, and apologized, but then our drinks came out fast anyways! Then, when I was WAY too full for dessert & wanted to digest before ordering, I didn’t realize they were closed already (10 mins ago), but she didn’t rush me and didn’t even do that pleasant “I just wanna let you know we are actually closed now” thing. Love Angie, she’s the bomb!!! Onto the drinks: All I have to say is that the Frambuesa was f’ing epic & PROBABLY THE BEST DRINK IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! and I’ve drank a lot of drinks lmao? Onto the food: everything was great - we had the Macaroni & Shrooms side, which was delicious (and super filling, so watch out??). The Oxtail was great, & the Spicy shrimp soba salad was also A+!!! The inside has a cool industrial feel (exposed pipes / cool lights / exposed and airy), and the bathrooms are cute!! And spacious (at least the women’s bathroom was).
I had the Spiced shrimp soba salad. Lots of fresh, tasty ingredients. Very flavorful. We ate outside on the sidewalk in separated area between tables. Service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry. The menu has lots of variety and good choices. Enjoyed our meal.
