We had a great birthday night. All of the food was excellent as well as the staff. Our waiter Will made a special drink for the birthday guest.

Slay Italian Kitchen was a true disappointment. We enjoy other restaurants in this group, especially Fete, so we had high expectations. While the menu selections were appealing, the food execution missed the mark. The chicken piccata was dry and served in large chunks rather than traditional scallopine. The side of pasta was cold, overly cooked, and the sauce was excessively spiced. The Brussels sprouts were excellent and the standout dish of the meal. The pizza had far too much cheese and was just okay. Our server was professional and kind, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the food was disappointing overall. We would not return.

Food was great as well as price. A bit of a rocky start since we could not get any service - felt as if our table was not covered by any server. But, once that got sorted out service was excellent.

Really good food and service. My only complaint is that they charged us a $40 corkage fee. That's very excessive and more than I have paid anywhere in the South Bay.

limited bar, no mocktails, kind of bread focused starter. food was good but nothing crazy for the price. attentive service. kinda noisy

Very nice restaurant and atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly and the food and wine were very good. I had the pizza special with figs and prosciutto and my partner had the chicken piccata, both delicious. The space is relatively small and can be a little noisy especially if you are seated next to a family with a small and tired child but overall it was a very nice experience. We will be back.

A very nice evening at an establishment with a nicely appointed and intimate feeling decor. The service was exemplary, and the food delicious. I would certainly recommend and return.

The room smelled like cleaning liquid or something odd and my glass of Chardonnay was in a red wine glass and a weak pour for your $25 Slay Chardonnay

Had to wait 20 minutes for reserved table, which was a bad start to the experience on a rainy evening. Hosts were very apologetic but not a word or visit from management about it. Food was good but not spectacular. Had calamari and garlic bread appetizers, garlic bread was more of a soft cheesy bread. Linguini with clam was well seasoned and texture was perfect, Ragu sauce was delicious but the tagliatelle itself was ordinary. Pizza was soggy in the center, and lasagna was ordinary. Service was fast and friendly, attentive. Service made up for the seating wait. But the food itself wouldn't bring me back. I would visit again to join others, but would not choose it on my own.

I have been there a couple of times this month and the food is always very good and it has a nice ambience. I had the chicken piccata and it was excellent.

Amazing experience! Food is to die for. The holiday decor was elegant and festive. Impeccable staff and service.

Everything was great but I have to admit that $25 for a short pour of your own pinot was pretty rich. If it was a brand like nickel nickel, caymus, hall maybe i can see that. We went down the street to Arthur J's for a $18 buffalo trace old fashion and glass of wine.

Restaurant was super hot! I appreciate that people sitting by the door may get cold, but those of us in the back were sweating and down to our tshirts!!

It was a pleasant experience however the food was overpriced. The penne without any protein as a vegetarian option was $28. Chicken piccata was served with red penne. The focaccia was great!! Enjoyed the burrata and jam. We probably will not go here again.
For the price we are paying, the dishes need to be elevated.

We love Slay Italian but last night was a slightly elevated experience. Really delicious. Fantastic service too. Loved it. Thank you! - Traci
