We ordered two sandwiches that come with a side of fries -- we asked to upgrade the fries to garlic fries -- we were upcharged $7 each plate for a small amount of garlic fries -- we could've kept the regular fries sides, and got a full order of garlic fries for only $9 -- so we we spent $5 extra for the privilege of getting way less fries. We complained to no avail. Totally ridiculous, I think you're supposed to be considerate toward your customers. Very unhappy with this place. Please avoid, there are many other places to go to. I should've asked for my tip back.

We love Sloopy’s! They have delicious huevos rancheros, maybe the best in the South Bay. Thomas is always so friendly and helpful. He recommended a bbq chicken sandwich with some additions and it was a 10/10.

Atmosphere was great but the waitresses ruined it. Awkward and rude as soon as I walked in the door, all the tables were dirty, and they were very inattentive. Bad attitudes and sat at a table gossiping loudly most of the time I was there.

Went here on rainy day. The interior combined with the coffee was perfect setup for connecting with a friend after 6 months and catching up on all we could.

Ordered sloppy plate and french toast. Bacon was really good and french toast was amazing as well.

Would definitely go here again for the food and ambience.

We just had a 6 hr work training event and I was in charge of boxed lunches. I heard about Sloopy’s infamous sandwiches and I have to say it did not disappoint (making me the lunch hero, of course). Almost everyone ordered the Phoenix Turkey Breast sandwich with mix of sides (salad, coleslaw, French fries), and I had the mother nature sandwich. The sandwich portion was well beyond filling, and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I would definitely order again and hopefully sit down in the beautiful atmosphere I’ve heard so much about. Thank you to the wonderful staff for being so accommodating and friendly. 10 out of 10. Really great for group lunches!

One of my favortie places for lunch when i worked near LAX 15 years ago. It was treasure then. A garden getaway with fatastic food near the beach. It has since been remodeled but i was super happy to see it was there when i was visting in Sept. The menu was even better and it switched to table service. The owner has style on every level - go enjoy it. Unque vibe and decorations... plants .. ocean air ... wicked good food... complex menu that i could eat from many times.

This cafe was ok. I liked the aesthetic the most. The food was overrated. We got three burgers and fries for over $60. The server didn’t check up on us once.
