Sushi Roku Manhattan Beach

Food was fantastic thanks to our server Anhya! She gave us amazing recommendations that we would not have chosen on our own. Great evening out!

Should have probably had sushi but was convinced to have the seabass. It's still an excellent choice. The seabass was good and flavorful. The menu said it had truffles, but I could not taste any in the miso sauce. But it is a sushi place, so my review may not apply to the sushi. Though it looked good on other people's tables.

The food came out very delayed. We waited a long time to get our entire order. Considering the price, the service must be better

Nya could not have been a more gracious server, especially for our first time. All her recommendations were excellent. Every dish was delicious. I look forward to returning again soon.

I mentioned to the hostess that we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary and from that point on we were made to feel so incredibly special. The manager (Michelle) greeted us personally and checked in on us throughout the night. From the dishes made for us to the on-menu items, this was one of the most amazing anniversary dinners we've ever had. Our server (Pierce) was attentive without being intrusive. Actually all of the staff were so welcoming and multiple staff members stopped by our table to give us “happy anniversary” well-wishes. The appetizers, the main dishes, desserts, and drinks were all OUTSTANDING! Rarely does a restaurant do all of those so well. We especially loved the Fluke sashimi, Chef's choice entree, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Thank you, Sushi Roku-Manhattan staff for making us feel so special on our 21st anniversary. We can't wait to visit again 🤗

I had great night tonight at Roku, after getting off a long day off work. I was pleased how the Bartender took of me whenever I need something. Drinks and food were great quality and would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people! We'll be dining again soon!

Lugar pequeño, cómodo y acogedor. Solo faltan algunos letreros que indiquen el acceso a los baños, que es compartido con el restaurante de atrás. La comida muy rica, sus Mariscos son frescos, sabores deliciosos y los platillos muy bien presentados. Completan una experiencia culinaria para recordar y querer volver.

I preferred this Sushi Roku over the others that I’ve visited in the past such as Newport Beach. The drinks during happy hour are very affordable ! The Martini was refreshing and classic. We enjoyed a variety of dishes but the whole tuna jalapeño roll was our favorite. The service was super attentive and friendly. The fluke sashimi with kumquat was very refreshing and I would definitely order it again.

The entire dinner from beginning to end was exceptional. Our food choices were great and had so much flavor! The drinks were amazing! I will definitely be returning.

Amazing food

Came in for my girlfriends birthday, made it clear on my reservation. staff didn't even acknowledge anything about it, on top of that they almost gave away our table to another couple bc we were literally 3 minutes late. We came in at 5:33 our reservation was 5:30. Overall the sushi was OK at best way over priced for the quality. Server was great but besides that mediocre at best. Very disappointed.

What a great experience. Booked dinner here for Valentines Day. They have every woman a rose - CLASSY. The food was terrific as usual!
