Food was fantastic thanks to our server Anhya! She gave us amazing recommendations that we would not have chosen on our own. Great evening out!
Should have probably had sushi but was convinced to have the seabass. It's still an excellent choice. The seabass was good and flavorful. The menu said it had truffles, but I could not taste any in the miso sauce. But it is a sushi place, so my review may not apply to the sushi. Though it looked good on other people's tables.
Great service, wonderful staffing, and delicious sushi and sake, definitely will be going again 😁
The food was delicious! The service was amazing! The managements and supports staff were beyond kind and attentive! Thank you so much for another amazing dinner!!
I preferred this Sushi Roku over the others that I’ve visited in the past such as Newport Beach. The drinks during happy hour are very affordable ! The Martini was refreshing and classic. We enjoyed a variety of dishes but the whole tuna jalapeño roll was our favorite. The service was super attentive and friendly. The fluke sashimi with kumquat was very refreshing and I would definitely order it again.
The Absolute best Sushi & experience! Great People Great Vibe! Euphoric w/Atomic! Flavors & Sensations!! Come & realize how good life can be!!
Amazing food
Service was great and wait staff were exceptional. While the food is good, portions are tiny and prices are high. $36 for 1 small tuna roll and 5 one- bite pieces of sushi. Left hungry. There's better and less expensive sushi elsewhere.
Ate sushi stomach really upset for days. Same for my girlfriend. Never had that happen before. Not worth it.
Client should be careful about the staff's inability to correctly fulfill the orders (particularly TAKE OUT orders) as things may be missing from time to time (An unpleasant surprise just when you open the order)...

Relatives from Japan loved the sushi, especially the light addition of flavors that enhanced the taste.
Thank you Nick for making our special Mommy/Daughter lunch such a treat! There’s a reason why we keep coming back!
T!ke 30+ minuted to get your drinks a d exactly 45 minutes for start food. Gave them 3 chance but same. We are loyal customers but Santa Monica is tons better.
I actually went to Boa first and the hostess told me about happy hour and Roku and was sweet enough to walk me over and show me the menu. The manager that night was a nice guy who made sure I was taken care of. He was also the manager for Boa. I sat at the bar and my server was Nick(great service) who made some good his suggestions on what to order. He made a yummy yuzu mezcal cocktail. The sushi chefs were also friendly and even checked to see if I had ordered or needed anything else.
We have eaten here several times. Sushi is outside our food comfort zone. The wait staff took the time to explain the menu sashimi versus nigiri and the different tunas. My hubby loves the Tuna. I like the Ebi. For us both, the star is the Wagyu. Market price we still need to have two pieces each. They serve mock tails. I love the yuzu margarita. The crispy rice with Wagyu is our favorite appetizer. Although the lamb chop is good too. Try the sticky toffee or the Lava cake for dessert. The restaurant can be noisy. Service is good and the management is visible and checks in on the diners. Yes we will keep coming back
