The Hangar Inn is a neighborhood dive bar with a great kitchen that stays open late. They offer a variety of cold beers and a different special each night at a reasonable price. Their menu includes excellent Philly Cheese Steaks, a highly recommended cheeseburger with options for freshly made fries or housemade potato chips, and a chicken taco salad bowl. The breakfast burrito is also a standout option, along with a spicy burrito, teriyaki pineapple chicken sandwich, chili cheese burger, and bacon avocado burger. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive.
The place has been around for decades, filled with memorabilia and plenty of seating, including counter and outdoor spots. TVs are everywhere for sports, and there’s a music kiosk for fun vibes. The waitresses are some of the friendliest around, and the clientele is chill. Vegetarian options like customized nachos and veggie burgers are also available. It’s not very spacious but comfortable, with an excellent staff that makes everyone feel welcome.
