Food was okay, but adding a mandatory tip without saying so up front wasn’t.

Lovely food and quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was not busy — even on the Saturday before Christmas. Excellent food, and they even made an off menu grilled cheese upon request, beautifully presented.
Definitely recommend.

I ordered the chicken and waffles breakfast meal with a side of coffee. The waffles were fluffy and delicious. The chicken was crispy and seasoned. Over all it was a delicious plate. I'm glad I got up early enough to have it.

During my stay at the Belamar Hotel, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant on the second floor. Before I checked in, I needed a place to work remotely, and the staff went above and beyond to help me connect to the Wi-Fi. They were incredibly attentive, making sure my coffee cup was always full. I ordered waffles and eggs—both were delicious, though I only managed to snap a photo of the waffles! A unique touch was the check, which is presented inside a book where guests are encouraged to leave a note. Overall, it’s a charming spot for both work and a great meal.

Good place to grab a quick meal or drink. Food was consistently delicious and service was great. You don't actually need reservations either!

Our first time visit to this restaurant was great as far as food and service. Ambiance is so so. We had the loaded tots that were incredible and then we each had a salad - South of te border salads, one with chicken one with steak, to go with those tots. We also each enjoyed a Manhattan Beach cocktail. Our server was very pleasant as well. Just be aware that parking at the hotel is $26.00 if you are not staying at the hotel or if you are lucky you can fin a short-term parking spot on the street.

Had the NY Strip with a huge serving of tater tots. A wonderful grill flavor on my medium rare steak. The side of asparagus, baby carrots, and broccoli were crisp.

The restaurant is more of a bar setting that is a little run down looking. It was open seating even though we had a reservation. My steak was ok but my wife's was thin and really uneatable.

This place is amazing! Everything was fresh. Nothing Frozen! Calamari was definitely above average .My Fish and Chips were hand filleted battered and fried. My chips were hand cut and well seasoned. My date said her Pappardelle pasta was light and prepared well. Service was excellent. Will be my new go-to by the beach.

Restaurant almost empty. Service friendly but not very good. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted to chat. Food was quite good. Ambience a bit sterile but okay for a hotel restaurant.

Unfortunately, the website is not current. We were expecting a Sunday brunch menu. The restaurant while open is more cafeteria style now. The food was good and the individual who served us was very friendly and responsive. It was very quiet as we were the only customers in the restaurant for most of our meal.

This restaurant atmosphere is sleek and cozy for couples, gatherings, and families. My husband and I are finishing up our stay. I am newly pregnant and we also brought our 1 year old son. The breakfast staff was professional, efficient, respectful, menu fluent, attentive, and personable to all. We saw the same 3 gentlemen mostly every morning and they truly are the reason we chose to have breakfast at our hotel instead of going out. I only wish every hotel breakfast was like them. We tipped well and absolutely plan on booking this hotel next year. We hope they have the same exact staff.O...and we tried the waffles and chicken, steel cut oats, fruit, huevos ranchers, club sandwich, crispy fish tacos, mac and cheese, and breakfast burrito. It all was SO good! Even when we called down to order dinner twice, the timing was fast and the food was always fresh and hot. The OJ was absolutely refreshing in the mornings! Figured I should say something about the food too. You can't go wrong with anything here. My husband truly enjoyed his bar drinks here as well.

Kid-friendliness: My 1 year old loved the fresh mini Belgian waffles and fruit from my plate. He chowed down on the baked mac and cheese which was very versatile as it was an adult baked mac and cheese and had the right broil but not chunky and too cheesy for our 1 year old to enjoy.
