The coffee here was delicious. One of the baristas offered me a couple of samples before I made my final selection, which was very kind of them. However my visit was soured by a different barista. About 20-30 minutes into my visit , I headed to the back towards the restrooms. A barista stuck out almost half his body out from the bar and meaningfully tried to make eye contact with me. I was puzzled by this and kept walking. When I was returning to my seat, he stepped out of the bar and asked me how I was doing. I said I was fine. He then told me that restrooms were for customers only. I look back at him, puzzled again. I had been seated for half an hour FACING the bar. I told him that I had been sitting here for a while now and he responded in an EXTREMELY dismissive tone - and then avoided making eye contact with me. Really dude? And it wasn’t lost on me that I was the only South Asian at the location at the time.
To the manager - I hope you will take some time to educate your staff on treating customers with kindness and dignity.

I really liked this coffee shop. Upbeat and modern, and their drinks seem really good too. I hat a vanilla iced latte, and the taste was good. I would come back here to try another drink! The avocado toast was also really delicious.

Was looking forward to find a place to escape the heat and Drink a nice Cappuccino after a day at the beach but it was hotter inside the cafe. Ridiculous. Will not be returning

The service is very fast and friendly and my cold brew was excellent. Glad I came here over the cafe with the giant mermaid logo that shall not be named!

I’m used to the Verve in Downtown Santa Cruz where the espresso drinks are excellent. I’ve been to this one a few times and the quality is just not there. I had a cappuccino today and I was very disappointed with the drink. I don’t think I’ll be back for anything other than pour overs at this location from now on.

Parking: Tough on weekends.
