My first time dining at Fete Bistro. Great value and so wonderful to eat a French meal with the accordion windows open. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, steak tartare, French onion soup and all of their entrees. My husband had the sea bass special and he said it was one of the best prepared sea bass dishes he's ever eaten. The crème brûlée and pistachio cheese cake were both decadent and delicious. We drank pear martinis and Slay Estate Pinot Noir. We will be back!!

What a great spot! Fantastic quaint atmosphere and layout inside. Service by Jonah our server and both the GM, Jacob, and Fete manager, Mike, came over to say hello. Sole was delicious and a large portion and the french onion soup was as good as I have had. Great place for business or date night!

The food was pretty good, and a large enough portion, but it should've come with more sauce, and the waitress was very nice, but didn't know the implicit rules of table waiting in a fancy restaurant. For example, she brought our check while we were still eating, She took our food away without asking if we were finished... She was very nice person, but I think the Management just never educated her to the rules. The manager just stood outside the whole time with his arms crossed without doing anything.

We had 5 guests and got the best table in the house: middle table next to the window. You get to see everyone coming in the restaurant and all your friends walking by outside. Food, cocktails and service were excellent as always. Love the new warm spinach salad.

We had a wonderful first time experiencell. All three dishes were wonderful. Our server was exceptional.  polite, knowledgeable, attentive. I wish I got his name. He was a young man with dark hair. The only negative was unfortunately there was a party of six young ladies who were very loud. Normally that wouldn't bother us, but my mom is 99 and it was a lot for her. we will certainly be back.
Amazing experience, everything was great! It's rare these days to be treated to first class service regardless of the cost.

I loved their smoked Gouda burger with the best sweet potato fries that I've ever had! Nice menu, something for everyone. Excellent cocktails, Slay's own wines, and always my favorite desserts at all of the David Slay restaurants. We couldn't stop moaning between bites of the seasonal pear almond tart! The apple berry crumble was sold out, otherwise we would have ordered both. Lively ambiance and neighborhood gem.

We took an "out of town" visitor to Fete on her first night in Manhattan Beach. They seated us on the window so we had fun "people watching" the passers-by in addition to the lively crowd in the restaurant. The waiter could not have been nicer or more attentive. The perfectly prepared drinks came fast and were followed quickly by a delicious 3-dip appetizer. The main courses (Chicken Paillard & Tenderloin Sandwich with French Fries) were excellent and the Chocolate Creme Brulee was to-die-for. A lovely evening that left all of us feeling ready to go back soon. Thank you Slay Group!
