The staff were friendly. The table decorations were lovely. No waiting to be seated or to order. Appetizers were very good. Unfortunately, the first course was served before we could finish the appetizers. The main course was served before we could finish the first course! My main course, the halibut, was tasteless and cooked too much. The desserts, bread pudding, were dry, cold when served, and tasteless.

The service from the valet driver to the Clerck at the desk to the server at our table was excellent and welcoming. Our entire visit was wonderful. The only thing I would recommend to Shade is to provide a bit more lighting for diners. I recommend a small lamp at each table which would give warmth to the table. The decor of the hotel is modern and a bit stark. More plants and lighting will improve the ambience. We intend to return for another delicious meal. The chef and his team...

AMAZING experience! Our group of 8 had made a birthday reservation weeks before at another restaurant. That restaurant canceled our reservation last minute due to rain, despite us calling ahead of time to ask how they are prepared, and them assuring us that it we would be moved inside.
