Stopped at this Carl’s Jr. in Manteca after a two-hour drive with a kid in the car. We just needed to use the restroom before placing our order at the drive through, but the staff refused to let me go until I purchased something physically in the restaurant. I explained our situation, but they showed zero empathy or flexibility. The restaurant was completely empty, and one of the two employees was literally sitting in a booth playing on her phone. The rudeness and lack of basic human decency were shocking. We left and took our business elsewhere. Won’t be coming back.

I work not to far from this place so I went a few days ago and I decided to go for lunch I went threw the drive threw I ordered a avocado buger 2 cars where already in front of me by the time I got my buger it was cold I asked the women if I can get a fresh buger she gave me a very bad look like if I was crazy she was mad talking under her breath in Spanish some type of bad words but very unprofessional and gave me a very bad attitude Maria was her name I saw her name tag I won’t for get it shes I don’t want her taking my order anymore probably won’t go back !!

I went to the drive through just now , November 14 at 6 pm, tried to order and I had to ask what was in the burgers and the lady was getting super frustrated and acting super unprofessional. Very rude and snarky attitude. She asked me to pull forward and when I was asking about what was the difference between the junior and the regular and she said “one is big and one is small”. ??♀️ and bobbing her head around with an attitude while she spoke to me. She made me feel very uncomfortable so I said I no longer want anything but Thankyou.

12 noon had the dining room to myself…. In and Out was right next-door: Inside packed…and about 20+ cars in the drive-thru. Carl’s needs to go back to the 70s marketing plan when they actually dominated the burger market in California. How anyone in management could keep their job knowing the circles the other burger chains are doing on them right now. …. for less money. Big Carl combo cost 15+ dollars. ?

I love this Carl's! It's Never busy. It's open 24 hours and the food always comes out great! It's a little pricey but it's definitely well worth it. They also don't start cooking your order until you order so it's always fresh. It's also great for dine in since it's usually pretty void of other people which I kind of like. I would definitely recommend this Carl's.
