Puffy tacos and arepas were amazing. Unfortunately, a bowl of chips cost $4. Which we've all been trained to think should be free. Children's menu leaves a bit to be desired. The kids cheese quesadilla was enormous but the bean and cheese soft taco was tiny. The taco was also black beans and served on a corn tortilla. Kids meal rice had whole corn in it which caused a major problem. Service was excellent and attentive. Overall a good value.
I was surprised to find this gem of Latin American cuisine in the Central Valley town of Manteca. It reminded me of the experiences I had on my trip to Colombia several years ago. There are good varieties of well prepared dishes. I will come back again and again on my trips to and from the Sierra.
We tried this restaurant because of all the great reviews and were surprised at the quality. There were four of us and every dish was amazing and the service was so kind. We will be back!!!
