Well... we ate at home. But I've eaten in the restaurant and the atmosphere is lovely, as is the service. Warm and inviting. Attentive but not overbearing. Highly recommend!

I just received my plate and the chicken was not good at all. It seemed way too oily and the sauce was off, the chicken also smelled kind of raw or something with the sauce. I got some naan and it was fine but do not come here the chicken was terrrible.

ive ordered from this place many times and usually its pretty solid but tonight i dont know what happened like the food smelled rotten. its like the same smell u get from rotten milk it was terrible, on top of that I ordered 2 rices and only got 1, (which also happened last time I ordered). dont know what happened in the kitcehn today like a gas leak but that smell was worse than anything i have ever seen. FIX YOUR FOOD AND STOP FORGETTING THE RICE

We went to Akbar for the first time and had such a good experience. JC took great care of us from the start — super friendly, really attentive, and his recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and the wine went perfectly with what we ordered.

Delicious food! Appetizers were so good, as well as the entrees. Lamb was really delicious. They also have a great selection of Wines. Very affordable. Highly recommended.

Firstly, waiters whoever working over there doesn’t have any patience and not showing minimum respect to customers. While in L.A we were hustling for Indian restaurants and finally one of my friends suggested this place. So, whoever review this comment, could you please make sure you’re giving the right food to customers. Coming to my concern, I actually ordered biryani and they gave me a chicken curry which is so bad. When I got in to my room and opened my food it was curries. I was totally upset. Please try to fix all this.

I always enjoy the menu at Akbar, and tonight was no exception. The food was flavorful, comforting, and hit all the right notes—exactly the fix I was looking for. Whether it's a familiar favorite or something new, Akbar never disappoints. Great service, warm atmosphere, and reliably delicious Indian food make this a go-to spot every time.
I even had to bring some home and can’t stop eating!

Decided to try this place a couple days ago. We ordered takeout through door dash and were very underwhelmed with the food, especially given the price ($50 for two entrees). There was so much oil and grease in our tikka masala and lamb korma that I had to pour it off of the top of my dish. Like.. the sauce was probably 50% oil. I LOVE lamb (and honestly the meat itself was tasty!), but I couldn’t bring myself to finish the meal. Both our stomachs felt off for the rest of the night and into the next morning.

Maybe it’s different for customers who dine in, but I will definitely not be ordering takeout from here again.
