Honestly some of the best food ive had in LA. Really really impressed with freshness, flavor, size, etc. Great spot in LA- chill, authentic-Venice atmosphere but quality of food is super high. Great service, vibe, etc. Might be my favorite spot in LA.

This was the best place I ate the whole weekend came back twice. Right across the street from my hotel, Inn at Venice Beach. The outside area is comfy and there’s sand. Good vibe, music playing even had a band.

I did my research and saw the reviews on this place, it said the food was great drinks great as well. Let me tell you the reviews are a lie. The food of this place was inedible, there was absolutely no flavor, everything was bland, added salt and pepper to everybody's dish and it didnt help. I dont know if they are scared of seasoning or what it is but if your doing a take on Mexican foods you should incorporate the flavors, we were disappointed to say the least. We sent back drinks that tasted like they were watered down, the sand all over the floor didn't didn't help either. Our bill was almost $400 with a 20% gratuity added and the service was crappy, our waitress was annoyed we sent back drinks and that we asked for straws. It really wasn't worth the drive and definitely not the money. We will never return

Very disappointing place: pricey with very average food (wings, the “sandwich” is a tasteless burger, the tacos). Only the margaritas were good ! The atmosphere is ok (usual after the beach kinda mood). Also disappointing was the service: the waitress came once to take our order and we didn’t see her until we went to pay and leave.

Sat at the bar and ordered a drink and the blackened shrimp tacos. Great service and the tacos were excellent!
Had our 50th high school reunion there. What a chaotic mess. The food was horrible and some of it stale. Inedible. I would rethink the sand on the floor. Bad idea. I have been going there for years. I do not know what happened. The food and drinks Were good. The parking situation sucked.

This is a great place to enjoy the food, with friends in a great and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is great. Food was great. I especially recommend the Mexican cornbread. That was very original and delicious!! YouTube:
Me and my friends have all worked in the service industry, but I was so confused about how mean the waiter was here. We came in for dinner tonight and the waiter was rolling her eyes and making snide comments. STRANGEST restaurant encounter I have had in LA. Food was meh, will definitely not return.

Stay away from this place. I don't normally review, but I want to review this place so people wouldn't waste time and money. I ordered 2 fish taco and 2 margaritas during happy hour. We paid like $80 The food was really bad. Fish was really dry and cold. Margaritas taste like nothing. Service was not slow. I guess the fish is not fresh fried. This is the worst food experience in LA.
