This was my first time eating here and I really enjoyed my food. The staff was very polite and friendly. I had a ground turkey, spinach, onions and tomatoes omelette, sweet potato tots and wheat toast. I will definitely be back.
What a mess. I had been here a few times, never great or terrible, but this AM I stopped in for breakfast. As always, it was just too pricey. For having to stand in line to order while yelling over the blender and eating off plastic treys it's just too expensive. Food is a little flavorless with the dryest potatoes in earth.i don't eat half my meal as the potatoes are brutal. Then when I get into the car the bottom falls out of my coffee cup. It wasn't pierced, it just gave out.Did they produce the cup? No, am I covered in coffee before work because if the cup they purchased, yea. I am. Staff is nice
Been coming here for over 10 years. I loved the old location, but the new one is ok too.Ive had just about everything on the menu and it is a amazing. The staff are equally amazing. Very friendly and hard working. Food is fast, hot, and delicious.Try the cajun chicken omelet, stuffed french toast, or, well, anything! Its all good!Would rate 5 stars but i hope they bring back servers and real plates (instead of to go cartons). Regardless, its still my goto fave place to eat in all of southern california.
Great and very fast food! By far the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a very long time. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat during a layover in a connected flight.
Great breakfast: had 2+2+2 of French toast, pork sausage patties and scrambled eggs plus fruit and a latte!
I have never been to Cafe Buena, I was looking for a place to have breakfast that had options for plant-based or vegans. I enjoyed their tofu scramble. Their drip coffee is really good. Their staff seem quite nice. The only negative was the atmosphere. The colors are sterile feeling, gray and white with cement floors. Definitely not inviting to eat there inside.
Great place to eat and relax. Food is top notch- their breakfast and lunch is amazing. The staff are warm and kind. Enjoy
I'm sorry to say but this place is really bad. They are charging fancy brunch prices (e.g. a lemonade is $4.50 and omelette $20) which I'm totally fine with, but the quality is awful. For some reason, instead of using plates, they put all your individual breakfast pieces in separate plastic containers. I think they believe this is COVID safe but it's actually worse - a good dishwasher and commercial cleaning products is way cleaner than these things which are just sitting out not to mention how completely awkward it is to cut a waffle in these flimsy containers - again, no biggie for a cheap diner, but for a sit-down breakfast charging $25/person it's just really weird. Most importantly, the food is really bad. The eggs were very overcooked, and the bacon is clearly either extremely cheap or old - I couldn't finish. The bathroom is really gross for a restaurant. The staff was friendly and I'd give 2 stars but I actually got sick shortly after eating here (had nothing else to eat that day). Again, these folks here are very friendly but they've got some really odd plating, food, and vibe going on. I'd seriously just get McDonalds breakfast if your choices are slim.
I’ve been going to Cafe Buna for years, happy to see they have expanded their location. Recently had the chance to visit them and Bonnie and Jorge are the sweetest. Thanks for making such great food and having great staff.
The Mexican omelet was really good. It seems they use crumbled up hamburger patties for the ground beef, but still good. Ordered the potatoes for my side, they were fresh cut with bell pepper and onions mixed in. All in all, it was more food than I could eat in one setting.

I’ve visited the Venice regularly since the late 90’s. I’ve always looked forward to breakfast at Cafe Bruno. They have moved since I last visited but the food and service are still great.
Wow - this food is AMAZING! Huge menu - hard to choose - my husband and I went this morning for breakfast - red velvet pancakes are the BOMB and thank you for the sweet potato tater tots................... we will be back!!!!!
God gave me a second chance, I started the year with covid, thank God I didn't lose my life ? my taste or smell. I'm happy to be alive, and having some of this delicious food. Not my first time ? I live DTLA...I got the Berry-Berry Stuff French Toast, sauce love links and a Buna Miel Late with Oat milk. Going to rate this fish 10/10 & Price was around $30. Let me tell you something ? it was worth every single penny most important for me is that it was fresh done when you order ?????Here going to leave a review bc they deserve the credit and Food with pictures make it more delicious ??????
I've enjoyed the food and friendly staff since 2003. A local favorite with a wonderful menu. The coffee is amazing and they serve some amazing specialty drinks to boot. You should definitely support this neighborhood establishment.AbFab
I am sorry, but I have to share this.Quantity over quality seems to be the theme at this place. Omelette was wet due to the ham, which was BTW cut in large chunks, and hashbrowns under cooked. Ordered a cappuccino that had nothing to do with a cappuccino, which is a shame as they actually have a super nice pro Italian espresso machine and coffee grinder at the place. Don’t think they know how to use it properly. On top of that everything was served in plastic boxes with plastic fork and knife - and we paid 80 bucks for 4 persons which is more expensive than a 4 star hotel breakfast. This place needs to focus more on quality and perfection. The staff was actually nice and friendly, but that unfortunately that did not compensate for the food experience that we had.
