I've been going to CPK for more than three decades, and I have to say my experience on Friday afternoon was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. We had Melissa as our waitress and she was horrible. Starting with not bringing my son his lemonade, after he ordered it at the same time as the rest of us. Then it took more than 20 minutes to get our appetizer, then as soon as we received our appetizer, our dinner came, and because she didn't pre-bus our table or give us enough time in between, our table was full of plates and when trying give my son his dinner, the food fell off the plate and onto the table and she just looked at him!!! He picked up the food off the table and put on his plate - and she didn't even offer a new plate of food or apologize. Both my sons ordered medium well burgers and they came almost raw. I showed her and she said "no, that's how it comes." I was floored. Medium well should NOT be RAW. I took a photo and showed the manager when I left. She too tried telling me it was medium well. To top things off, my salad order was wrong - and Melissa never checked up on us at to see how our meal was and never came back to refill drinks or water. I had to drink my son's water, because my glass was empty. There was no pre-busing done, food was extremely undercooked, service was terrible with a terrible attitude to boot. It's sad that the CPK in Redondo Beach closed, because that was my go-to. They had the best service, bartender and chefs. Note to management: 1. Train your employees on the basics of being a waiter/waitress. Tables need to be bussed throughout the meal, drinks need to be refilled. 2. There should be a 2 minute check up after food is delivered to the table. 3. Make sure you chefs are cooking according to temperature, not time, and for the love of nachos, hire staff who actually want to be there.

Our server on this visit was very nice. But the cook must have called in sick or just didn't know what he was doing. Because everything was terrible. Waited a half hour for my food and couldn't eat it.

The general area is very clean. The restaurant is clean and exactly like other CPKs except our order was correct the first time and it was nice and hot. Loved this location! We went to the Barnes and Noble first and came here for lunch. So lovely! Me and my fiancé witnessed some road rage in the parking structure so come calm!Parking: Lots of parking aroundKid-friendliness: It’s a kid friendly place. Most kids love pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: There aren’t any stairs to the restaurant. You can roll right in but the tables are a tad close.

Not happy with what has become to their staple Bbq chicken pizza. Paid extra to add extra everything only to see again the minimal bbq sauce min cilantro minimal onion situation, had a bit more chicken but the instructions said extra on all those items not just chicken. Overall super dry taste. Not gonna order from them. Maybe in person they make better pizzas but to go all dry. My husband ordered another type of pizza also tasted dry probably like the box .

First time having dinner solo excellent choice for a restaurant. The restaurant was very spacious, clean and just the right atmosphere for a solo date night! I was greeted with the host opening my door, remember I was on a date with myself so I felt special, chivalry is not dead ladies! I was seated immediately, my waiter Elmer came right over very polite, and excellent customer service. He was very attentive to my needs. I watched him hamdle other customers and he attended to them just the same. So now in to the food excellent excellent excellent! I am sold this California Pizza Kitchen is one of the best! I will definitely be back soon!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE QUEEN TREATMENT! On my next visit I will definitely be meeting the manager of this wonderful establishment!! Have to give him a personal compliment!
As a local I'm disappointed in the service.The host front door was cool. But the lady who sat us was unprofessional or a racist .You would think it would be cool at happy hour but no the service was horrible.I had to ask for bread and refills .
