You must eat here!! We were in LA staying at Marina del Ray for the weekend and saw the reviews and booked a table. What a great little restaurant straight out of Italy (we used to live there so I have some experience đ). The service was amazing and the owner checked on us at least 4 times to make sure everything was perfectâŠand it was! The homemade pasta delicious and the caprese the best Iâve ever had. I canât believe this little gem was so close (right off Venice Beach) and so authentic!
I had the special of the day which was black cod and lentils it was fantastic and the cod was cooked to perfection

I was here for a group dining experience and the host and servers all took great care of us. They were very accommodating with splitting the checks and ensuring we all got what we ordered. I had the grilled octopus. It was some of the best I've had in recent memory - perfectly tender and well charred with nicely seasoned vegetables to accompany it. The space is airy and was not too loud on a Sunday afternoon.

We sat in the back where it was a little more quiet. EVERYTHING was dellecious i only have one complaint I was with my kids and ordered 3 cokes...yeah I know kids should not be drinking soda butit was a birthday and I said OK Anyway, Casa 12 charged me $9 each for bottled coke - that was a big surprise- did not even give me the option of a fountain cola. $9 ? REally To me thats insulting when the restaurant is already on the expensive side...but thats ok- Just wish he told me....
The food was delicious â beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was a hit, and the cocktails were just as good.
The only downside was that service was a bit slow the night we were there, likely because the place was packed (which says a lot about its popularity).
If youâre looking for great food, lively energy, Casa 12 is definitely worth visiting.

Very disappointing experience due to poor management and unprofessional behavior.
Came here on a Thursday night to celebrate my brother-in-lawâs birthday. What should have been a fun evening was completely thrown off by how poorly a situation was handled by the staff, especially the bartender and the manager. My sister-in-law and her friend, both minors, went to the restroom while we were eating outside. A staff member knocked on the bathroom door and walked away. A few minutes later, the bartender came out and yelled at them, accusing them of being ill-mannered and asking what was wrong with them, just because they were laughing and talking. They came back upset and told us what happened. Shortly after, the bartender came up to our table in an aggressive tone and again insisted that she saw them outside the restroom laughing. The friend calmly explained that it wasnât them, it was another staff member who knocked. Then the actual staff member who knocked came by and admitted it was them, not the girls. Instead of apologizing, the bartender simply said âOh well Iâm sorryâ and walked away. No sincerity. No accountability. Just attitude. Later, the employee who knocked came by and actually apologized, which we appreciated. But the bartender continued to walk around clearly angry, as if she had been wronged. Meanwhile, the manager, who was fully aware of the situation and had spoken to the employees involved, avoided the issue entirely. It wasnât until we asked for the check that he finally approached us, said âdesserts are on the house for the little incident, sorry,â and walked away. That is not how you address your staff yelling at customers. That is not how you show leadership. This was a clear miscommunication that could have been resolved with a simple apology and a moment to actually listen. Instead, we were met with hostility and zero accountability. Itâs sad to see a place with decent food be completely ruined by a lack of professionalism at the top. We wonât be back. If basic respect and maturity from staff is important to you, I wouldnât recommend this place.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in LA (not just in Venice). Noodles are perfectly cooked. Do not miss the pappardelle and now that they have a full bar, indulge in a spritz. David will create one for you. Edgar and Manuel are terrific. And these are the reasons we eat here a few times a week!

Casa 12 has such a vibrant, happening atmosphere â itâs the kind of place that instantly feels alive the moment you arrive. The dĂ©cor and lighting create a charming European feel, and the outdoor heaters make the patio perfect for a cozy evening out.
