Very quaint place. Food was very good. Wait staff was very nice & attentive. For 3 of us, we ordered 3 apps, 2 entrees, a bottle of basic Pinot, 1 dessert, 2 after dinner coffees, it was $300 including tip. However, it was insanely cramped & we were very uncomfortable by the end. I am not a person of size & the entire dinner I was being bumped into by patrons & wait staff. Every time one guy went to or from his table, he pushed my chair in while I was sitting in it. I looked behind me & there was plenty of room. No idea why he was doing this. This was a patron, not an employee. Extremely loud. Our voices felt hoarse after spending a couple hours dining here. The table next to us was extremely boisterous. We had the same waiter & when he would check on us, the guy at the next table thought he was there for them & talked over us. Food was good, especially the pasta. If the atmosphere quiets & you have room to breathe after eating, we'd consider returning but as is, would not go back to spend $300. There's better options for that money.

Well, the boys were whooping it up on the patio. A bit loud. But we still had a good time. Lobster Ravioli, and spare rib bits with homemade pappardelle were awesome. Washed it down with a nice Pinot Noir. Too full for desert. Next time! We love the staff and the location.

This place is great for authentic Italian meal. I am overwhelmed with the service excellence, ambience, and quality of the food. Here I highly highly recommend it and the wine selection is amazing as well or bring your own for a corkage fee.

Our timing was excellent. We had a table at the back of the restaurant. Our service was excellent. The kitchen was quick and the food was excellent. What was especially good was how attentive the waitstaff was. I would just put up my hand and someone was there. It was also especially nice that you were not only open on Christmas eve, but that everything was so good. Delighted to meet two of the owners. It was great.

What a pleasant surprise New Years Eve dinner was at Casa 12. We had a phenomenal meal and a fantastic time. The staff are fantastic and caring. Venice needs this!! We will be back as we live in walking distance. Thank You. Have a great New Year!

My family just moved to Marina del Rey November 4, 2025, and have been to Casa XII four times. The food, atmosphere, service and the servers are outstanding. Jasmine has been our server most of our visits and I can't say enough about her thoughtfulness and pleasant personality and attention to detail. It is a pleasure dinning at Casa XII and you, too, will return many times.

Booked Casa 12 without knowing anything about the place. Right away you could tell it was a fun vibe. The owner really knows his clientele and is front and center setting the service level. Casa 12 is hands down my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. The fresh pasta is consistently incredible (veal fresh also), the ambiance is cozy and stylish, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. You can really feel how much pride they take in everything they do. I also love that they have live music a few nights a week—it makes the whole experience feel special without being over the top. Whether I'm grabbing a casual dinner or celebrating something, Casa 12 never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Incredible restaurant just off the beach. I was skeptical due to the location, because most are tourist traps. This was a real, legitimate Italian restaurant. Burrata was superb, pasta was incredible and wine was wonderful. We are locals, and this was our first time. We will be back!!

You must eat here!! We were in LA staying at Marina del Ray for the weekend and saw the reviews and booked a table. What a great little restaurant straight out of Italy (we used to live there so I have some experience 😉). The service was amazing and the owner checked on us at least 4 times to make sure everything was perfect…and it was! The homemade pasta delicious and the caprese the best I’ve ever had. I can’t believe this little gem was so close (right off Venice Beach) and so authentic!
